Amen to that! Have a great time, only thing that can make a race day even better is free tickets!!Enjoy the day with your Dad. A day like that has a lot of value, traffic or not.

You're what?! Dude, you need help.I'm missing the summer nationals at Paducah for this. Hope to still go to one or two hell tour races.

I'm sure there's a reason, and I have no idea what the layout is like, but that just seems weird to me.No need to rush to car after Ky Cup race. All parking lots held 30 minutes to allow pedestrians to get to cars; infield to be held 90 min.
'Impound race' of another nature I guess.I'm sure there's a reason, and I have no idea what the layout is like, but that just seems weird to me.
I think it's a night race on Saturday. I just didn't want you to miss it.Sun Jul 1

It is going to be a scorcher on Saturday and Sunday.
I am going to miss it because the sprint cars are racing fairly close to me.

OK, I just wanted to make sure you didn't pull in there Sunday morning or you'd be like Michael Waltrip @ the wrong track. Man, that would suck.
Anyone...Andy?
The only talk of battling traffic Saturday centered on the race much to the relief of speedway and state officials who poured millions of dollars into highway and speedway improvements. It worked.
Dayton’s Kathy Bloosom reported on Kentucky Speedway’s Facebook site her son left Dayton at 2:15 p.m., arrived at the track at 3:45 and was in the infield fan zone at 4:15. Most other fans had similar experiences. No traffic problems were reported by the Kentucky State Police.
It was all good
Amazing what happens when they have more than two entrances to a racetrack.
I dunno, it might.LOL....Really, it won't kill you to say they did a good job fixing the problem

i'm very proud of you grasshopperKentucky Speedway did do a good job fixing the problem. Adding entrances to the track surely helped the traffic flow.
105,000 is what was reported. What was the actual attendance though? Looked like there were plenty of empty seats on tv so I'm sure that made the traffic easier as well.
