Kentucky Speedway

Enjoy the day with your Dad. A day like that has a lot of value, traffic or not.
Amen to that! Have a great time, only thing that can make a race day even better is free tickets!!

I know what was going. I was stuck in it for hours hot passes or not it still sucked. But even if I just had tickets id still gotton.in.before it started.

I'm missing the summer nationals at Paducah for this. Hope to still go to one or two hell tour races.

I think things will be better this year. :)

No need to rush to car after Ky Cup race. All parking lots held 30 minutes to allow pedestrians to get to cars; infield to be held 90 min.

Ouch!

I'm sure there's a reason, and I have no idea what the layout is like, but that just seems weird to me.:idunno:

Other tracks do the same thing for safety purposes to try and keep people (especially ones involved with adult beverages) from being ran over. I like the idea of no rush to speed out.

Anyone...Andy?

My brother was there and he said it was easy in and easy out.

The only talk of battling traffic Saturday centered on the race much to the relief of speedway and state officials who poured millions of dollars into highway and speedway improvements. It worked.

Dayton’s Kathy Bloosom reported on Kentucky Speedway’s Facebook site her son left Dayton at 2:15 p.m., arrived at the track at 3:45 and was in the infield fan zone at 4:15. Most other fans had similar experiences. No traffic problems were reported by the Kentucky State Police.

What was the actual attendance though? Looked like there were plenty of empty seats on tv so I'm sure that made the traffic easier as well.

I deleted all the blather and nonsense. Stick to the subject please. There are posters who
do not care to wade through all the ticky-tacky stuff.

If you want to chat about non-racing stuff, take it to Chit-Chat forum --- please.

Leave this forum for racing.
