Keselowski goes off, offers no support to AJDinger.

It appears , at least on the surface, that he doesn't like AJ too much or doesn't consider him a good teamate. I think it will be highly unlikely that Nascar reverses it decision and it probably will be a long time before AJ races again, at least in Nascar anyway.

Brad has made it clear that he thinks highly of Logano. Logano said he is talking to Penske. Brad says "Whether it [AJ's B sample] comes back positive or negative, it's still a death sentence," said Keselowski.

Hmmm..........

If he is firing torpedos, I'll feel better about becoming a Stenhouse fan. I'm waiting to see if Brad clarifies his stand on AJ. Tony, JJ, Denny and a few other drivers have made qualified statements of support for AJ, and this is the best Brad can do for his teammate?

Penske spin doctors will soon have Keselowski backtracking. Today or tomorrow is my guess.

The funny thing about Brad is that he says he likes when people say what they think. I used to get a lot of replies from he and joey Meier. After I questioned them for not switching to fuel strategy while he was leading at Indy and locked into a 4 tire stop, they got upset. Huh? I wasn't being nasty, and it's the exact strategy Tony used to win a race early in the chase. I stopped getting replies after that.

Keselowski has been steadily building himself a good reputation on the track so he may want to consider what his mouth and "tell it like it is" attitude may do to that.

Don't get me wrong - it's nice to have drivers show some personality - but ultimately it's about racing.

I see complaints about drivers being too bland. Then when they aren't bland I see complaints about them sayingn the wrong things. Brad may sometimes be wrong but it's good that he doesn't care what we think.

We all said dumb things when we were in our twenties .

If drivers don't care about what the fans think, why would they even talk to the media? Who is it they think is reading their comments?

I'd say it's more that fans don't care what other fans think.

Unusual comments to say the least. I'm still trying to digest it but its hard to swallow.

Al Bundy would not approve of these messages.

It can have it's benefits, Kyle Busch brings his "A game" to every race now........

A more reasonable analysis from Penskes' Tim Cindric.

Cindric said a flurry of drivers have called about driving the car starting last Saturday.

“Like Roger (Penske) said, all of a sudden you're the prettiest girl in town, as far as other drivers are concerned,” Cindric said. “We have a solution. We've got Sam. Luckily, we’ve got the depth. We’re going to give him an opportunity but we're going to play this thing week by week.”

Keselowski said no matter what happens, Allmendinger being suspended is a “death sentence.”

“Brad is always going to give you his opinion,” Cindric said. “You have got to love him for that. It's his opinion. For us, we have to see how it all plays out here this week. … That (opinion) is a bit harsh. From our end, if we felt like it was that, then we wouldn't be talking about it.”

Cindric has been in contact with Allmendinger during the last week.

“(He is felling) as you would expect,” Cindric said. “Nobody wants to sit out. Nobody wants to be in that situation. “Right now, you get to the point after the initial shock where you are trying to figure out what the best strategy is to go forward, and to make sure that whatever cards you play, you play them the right order. That's why it takes a little longer to get to that next step.”

Shame on you FB, you did not mention the girl or is this really you.

I believe in what Brad said. Before you take any kind of substance, the first thing you should do is ask NASCAR if it's legal, nobody knows what AJ took but i'm sure, like previous articles have already said, that NASCAR would not have made the decision they made unless they were certain he had done something wrong. I don't know the guy, but AJ up to this point has been a great competitor in NASCAR & as far as I know has never had any run-ins with the law, i hope everything works out for him.

He isn't without prior problems.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Sprint Cup driver AJ Allmendinger was charged with drunken driving by Mooresville, N.C., police Thursday morning.

The Richard Petty Motorsports driver, according to the police report, was driving a 2007 Lexus when he was pulled over at 1:27 a.m. He was released to others at the owner's request. Police said he blew a .08 on a Breathalyzer test.
