If you feel I have made a mistake on the list, let me know about it and I'll see what I could do.

Without further interruption let's begin.

Hey, how's everyone doing. Riggs10fan checking in.

Just a little note: Kevin on QVC Tonight @ 8:00 PM.

Yes... Anyway, I just got a few words for anyone going to Las Vegas Motorspeedway: DO NOT BUY TICKETS TO THE EARNHARDT TERRACE.

Tickets to sit in the Earnhardt Terrace cost $300.00 smackers each.

dola... thank god my brother and I will sit in the normal grandstands.

I remember up until last year, LVMS utilized the temporary grandstands on the turn 3 and turn 4 sections.

Isn't that for all of the races that weekend?
You mean the Earnhardt terrace? Yes, it will be used for all the races that weekend. A package deal would cost someone like 300 or 400 each I guess. There are no more temporary grandstands because the Terrace was built. I guess the higher elevation, seeing the track better is the reason for the cost, I guess another reason why it is so highly priced is because those are actually stadium-like seats as compared to the normal grandstands.

The ticket prices for the new "seats" (being that your butt is the only one sitting in it, not a bleacher bench), then the "Weekend Ticket Package" seems reasonable. Well, maybe not reasonable, but inline with other tracks.

Harvick on QVC? That's sad, it makes me feel bad when they have drivers and/or other athletes on that channel, they just seem so, well, unhappy to be there, that fake smile...all the make up. Makes me want to cry.
So, what's the good word on the Harvick front? How did he fare in testing? I heard the "RCR Goonsquad" did really well in drafting testing, something like Sauter and Gordon at 1 and 2, close to 190MPH...how was Harvick?

I dunno, I heard he was last in practice the first few days, but I heard he came up to fourth beating out Roach Racing.

Kevin gained the most points at the superspeedways in 2003, I think he should win a couple plate races this year.

That and he should dominate at Bristol. Had lots of top 5s there in his career, it'll be time for him to break through to victory lane in 2004.

Hey Guys! That should be the Eastern time zone.

I see the 04 die-casts are already on e-bay.

I just got NT2K4 for the PS2 and the Logitech Driving Force wheel/pedal deal...can't wait to try it out. Does Harvick have a lot of cool paint schemes?

Yes, the GM Goodwrench 2003 Paint scheme, the Budweiser Shootout 2003 and Homestead Paint Scheme and the Snap-On 2003 Paint Scheme for NASCAR Thunder 2004.

So, anyone here have their 2004 1/64 or 1/24 Diecasts yet? I dont :(

I got a Hot Wheels 1/64 Kevin Harvick 2003 #29 GM Goodwrench Chevy Diecast. Changes from a Normal car into a test car when near cold temperature.

I plan to pick up a 1/64 Winners Circle Diecast later on and hopefully, I can pick up a 1/24 scale diecast at LVMS.

Kevin will be testing here in Vegas along with the rest of the drivers. I dont think I'll be attending the testing. However, I hope it yields good results for the 29 team.

Its currently Robby Gordon days til Daytona, tomorrow it'll be Johnny Sauter and on Sunday it'll be Kevin Harvick days until Daytona. Man, you cant wait can you Happy?

Yeah I can't wait. The Daytona 500 is the only time of year when I'm really alive, the most exciting race of the year baby!

Of course, you have The Shootout, the Twin 125 Qualifying races, Pole Day, Koolerz 300 and then Daytona. It's racing's best week.

If you wait a month or so you can buy those elites for around $50.00 and a regular for around $25.00 to #30.00.

The Dale jr 04 - 500 car is going crazy right now. not one for less than $200.00
It's insane to pay that price for a 1/24 scale car!

The fans must be going crazy over that one. I like the paint scheme myself, the Born on Date one, I'd kill for one right now. However, I'll wait, hopefully they have some on sale when I get to the Las Vegas races. I'd understand paying $50.00 to to $100.00 for a 1/24, but $200.00? Man....

If he wins the Daytona 500, which he most likely will, the price of that will go bonkers !

If I give 200 for a diecast. He better autograph it and deliver it himself.

Or nearly get killed while driving the design! Or just simply winning the race. :D

The only diecast I know that sells for more than $200.00 or comes close to it is the Kevin Harvick Brickyard 400 ELITE Post-Race Die-cast. I dont have it yet though :(

Well, who does?

Shall we change topics? So, which team stands a chance at beating the DEI cars in the Daytona 500?

You know the answer as well as I do my friend. BAM Racing.

No, seriously, RCR has the best chance at beating DEI, and with some help from the gods that be, they will. Kevin had the strongest car during the Pepsi 400 in 2003 and it sucked that pit strategy forced the really really good cars to the back, Kevin finished 4th during the Daytona 500 despite suffering that minimal front end damage he received after a pit road incident with the nameless driver in the 97 car. He also finished 2nd and 6th at Talladega, so, he will give the DEI cars a race for their lives. If the DEI cars are separated all day, I think Kevin will pull the victory off and return that Goodwrench car to where it rightfully belongs: in victory lane.

However, I'll be rooting for Dale Jr. and Kevin Harvick that day, may the best out of the two win. B)

dola...

Let me add this to my statement, anyone who wants to win the 2004 championship can do what they want to get it. However, they'll have to get by Kevin Harvick to do it.

But this points system thing will make it interesting.

Interesting stuff for RCR's Busch Program:

The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, the ESGR, is a government funded program that enlists the support of America's corporations to procure employment for American military service men and women. In 2004, ESGR has committed to sponsor five Busch races, with Richard Childress Racing, in an attempt to create awareness and to promote the five Freedom Award Recipients selected in 2003.

#29 Bobby Labonte ESGR-Army Monte Carlo
#29 ESGR-Coast Guard - Tony Stewart
#29 ESGR-Marines - Jimmie Johnson

Turns out Kasey_kahne_9_38 or 'wlfyk62' was actually right

Harvick stands an especially good chance because he has two teammates that could help block and push him...DEI only has two teammates total...you can't really count the 1. At least, I don't.

The 1 is doing pretty well in testing however something will happen to it, an engine will blow in qualifying, it gets wrecked on lap 50. Unlucky car ever since Steve Park had that nasty wreck at Darlington in 01.

Agreed, everytime the 1 is up there, it always seems to get wrecked. Remember California?

Also, I am planning on creating a different forum where we could just talk about Harvick when we're not holding our meetings here.

Would any of you support me creating a forum like that?

Seems like a nice idea. Sure, why not?
