A nurse friend of mine says she would rather go through labor again than pass another kidney stone.
I had a procedure done yesterday to attempt to break it up. The doctor lost sight of it, so she's unsure if it was successful or not. They put a stint in me to try to help coax it out. If this doesn't work, I have to go to Cleveland and it will have to be surgically removed. I feel zero difference, so I'm guessing it was unsuccessful. I'll know for sure when I go back to the doctor on Tuesday.

I had one once. Yeah, Demerol is a wonderful thing. First time I ever hurt so bad it made me puke. I got lucky and passed the little bastard in a day. Never did find it for all the pissing through coffee filters. Doc handed me a list of things that increase the likelihood of growing them ... I got real respectful of that list.

Went back today for my follow up from Fridays procedure. The blast worked. Stone has been obliterated. But my God, having that stent removed stung like a sumbitch too. I'll be glad to get back to work after being off for the last month.
