I had a cat that would sleep all day curled on top of a stereo speaker. He just barely fit. Never could figure out -- A) why he never fell off, and 
why he never found a place with more room.

TRL, I also once had a cat who slept in strange places. Her favorite during the winter was on the back of the TV where it was warm, or on top of the fridge, and in summer she slept in the x supports or above the dropped ceiling in the basement. LOL AND kittys WILL find the best hiding places in the house....drive ya nuts!!!

My first cat found that the pilot light on the stove kept the iron skillet warm --- needless to say, he thought that was the perfect place to sleep.
Wound up getting a "kitty skillet" just for him. LOL
