Knockout Qualifying - Coke 600

It's more entertaining but I'm still not on board with the idea that the fastest lap wont get the pole :(
 
With the sun going down, there is gonna be alot of doing nothing until the track is 100% shaded

I Iike it better than the old way, but I like the way they qualified last week for the all-star race even better.

I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing the 13th place qualifier have a faster lap than the 12th and or 11th place qualifier.
 
Danica's first run to 3rd. Johnson's first run was 5th. Impressive.
 
If you want to see into the future... usually about 15-20 minutes ahead of the TV broadcast...

Gordon has a slow ass car for qual so I'm not expecting him to advanced anywhere.
 
Actually it looks like the nascar leaderboard is right with the TV broadcast today.
 
Gordon didn't even attempt a second run. He gave up completely. lol

Eh. 400 Laps. Unless he gets into a wreck which is likely he can have a ****** car and make it a decent throughout the night.

You gotta think for the longest race of the year, his short run speed may be even worse this week :confused:

Of course that statement is also true for any number of other drivers.
