Lets see if she can back up a great starting spot with a great finish
 
I wonder who will be on the pole for the NNS race. Chase Elliott was fastest in final practice. Kevin had the best 10 lap average. Should be a good race.

Even though Kyle didn't practice much since he crashed in practice, I suspect he'll be a threat for the pole. Hopefully Chase gets a good starting spot.

I'm sure Chase will run well no matter where he starts. Larson was fast in practice, too.
 
Good start for Danica, she might have these 1.5 figured out a bit, hope she finishes good.

Jr starting top 10, I'll take it and hope he finishes good, like to see him win it.

Had a slow run then didn't bother going out a second time. I think they could have at least made the top 24 with the track cooling down. oh well its a long race.

Kurt is taking on a lot, trying to race two entirely different type of cars. I wouldn't expect he would qualify too well, hopefully he will race better, it's going to be one hell of a long day for him.

How cool for Danica and her fans, they have a good reason to be hopeful this Sunday. And then there's old Smolder riding around once again in the middle of the pack. I might have to come up with a new driver to follow as old smolder's embers are fading away.

You know, I don't get it. There's not ONE negative post in this entire thread about Danica Patrick so what's the point of this post? Is it to goad people into making some or what?

She is ok, but there are WAY HOTTER chicks walking around the grandstands each and every week and I mean WAY HOTTER!!!
There is a certain mentality possessed by people that pose like that for pictures. Ultimately it is a similar mentality that a stripper or a pornstar would possess. It's a mentally that I have a real tough time respecting, but hey...to each their own!
 
Good point slice..I have also said I like that godaddy has gone more professional....and we do not see DP in such outfits nearly as much. I want someone who is known for her racing career not modelling.

I saw her in Portland, OR when she was taking Girl Scouts through the paddock when she was in the Atlantics. Wondering if she is no longer viewed as an appropriate role model for them. If so, that would be unfortunate. She was really cool with them.

Nope...just the ones that pose for excessively provocative shoots.
 
I'm excited for Danica. It looked like she was haulin' ass around that track. I thought she would have the pole.
 
I really like the strategy that comes into play in this type of q'ing. How long do you wait? How hard do you drive?
The 4 car's strategy was obviously to go out as late as possible --- came up a little short.

Definitely more fun that watching 1 car drive around.
