Knockout Qualifying - Texas

I expect the usual people to be in the top 12. Im picking the 48 to win, but i think either Keselowski or Logano will get the pole.
 
And by one of the fords I mean either logano Edwards or keselowski because the others have been out to lunch this year

RPM has had one of the best starts of a season they've had in years. Not that I expect them to qualify well, but they have been finishing well.

I expect (and hope) that Joey will get the pole and the win.. or at least one of them.
 
Those Gibbs guys have had good speed in qualifying. I expect 2-3 of them to make the top 12.

Joey and Jimmie are the only drivers to have made the top 12 every week in knockout qualifying, I think that will continue.

I hope Blaney in the 22 wins the NNS race tonight.
 
Look for the #4 to challenge for the pole.

Possible surprise...#27.
 
NWS qualifying is not going very well for some guys.
 
Blaney makes it to the line with 10 seconds to spare and lays down 3rd fastest lap in the first round.
 
The JRM cars are going to be tough to beat, although # 20 and #22 look good.
 
What's interesting is Biffle and Bayne near the top and the JGR cars barely making top 15.

Yes, the Penske dynamic duo are 30th and 32nd but I'm blaming that on Jack Roush ;)

Like I said Im not worried... practice is practice... and it was race trim practice. Ive seen Joey be 30th or worse in first practice more than a few times last season and have one of the best cars all race. Auto Club and Atlanta come to mind... both very similar tracks to this one too in wear and general shape.. especially Atlanta. He had winning cars at both those tracks last season. This practice will be a better indication.

Ty Dillon is making some laps in the #3 in case he has to fill in for an ailing Austin Dillon.

Don't get FS2 so are they qualifying or is it raining?

The leader board at nascar.com shows no activity on the track.
 
Qualifying has just started. DEJr set a track record.
