Just curious... and that isn't very accurate. Not when it comes to this kind of thing anyway. I understand NASCAR very well... and I definitely know that at tracks like Texas tires slow down when you run more laps on them

I was more befuddled with seeing some drivers qualifying worst than someone with a mediocre lap.
I hadn't even noticed that till today.

It was the same the past couple weeks too. Joey set the Martinsville track record and Kyle took the pole.
Harvick not only ran a track record time but ran the fastest qualifying lap on a 1.5 mile track EVER!
