Just had to share this one. I had a rattlesnake strike my hiking stick a couple years ago. Fortunately, it was pretty chilly out so he was sluggish. I felt a small bump while crossing a dry creek bed, looked down and saw it, and made record time gettin' my booty up the next ridge!

I couldn't tell you the last time I was speechless. :lol:
