Who would that be? :confused: That would be plain silly, IMO.

I know how you feel. I get annoyed when fans 'defend' their driver as if they are married to them, no matter how badly they act. Well, I'm talking about the first few years of marriage. :D

...or perform on the track. It's like fans of Joonyer. I like the guy and I would love to see him in Victory Lane - but c'mon, man! He gets $30 Million per year to drive the car, hasn't won in the last 25 years or so, and he's still NASCAR's most popular driver. And don't dare suggest that maybe he's lost "it" unless you want to be inundated with hate mail. ;)

yeah, some of those people are REALLY twisted. I remember when they flipped out over JJ pitting because he 'owed' Jr a push. You had to see some of the vile things they tweeted to JJ.
 
Anyone that thinks they have the right to try and dictate, who someone should, or should not root for needs to get away from that sport, because they are taking it way to seriously, and have lost the grasp of what it is all about, which is entertainment, and the purpose of entertainment only. I have seen a few on here try to intimidate some from rooting for certain drivers, but fortunately that doesn't seem to work.

They way I see it, everyone reads a thread title and decides to read....or not read. If someone is getting on my driver, I decide if I'm in the mood for a little spirited debate on the subject and jump in. Otherwise, I ignore it. People can argue back with intelligent points or just get all emotional about it. Either way, it's part of the fun of being a fan or anti-fan of any player.

I'm a Red Sox fan in Yankee territory, so a little razzing never bothers me.

lol I'm not a big Sox fan, or even a baseball fan, but I was rooting for them to win the champ in 2004. Most Yankee fans were cool, but you wouldn't believe some of the reactions I got. Totally over the top nonsense, which made it extremely fun to show up for work. I even conspired with a few rational Yankee fans and we put VooDoo dolls in the kitchen, Anti-yankee emails and hanging "The Bambino is dead" signs all over just so see the reactions. Some of these crazies acted like I was insulting their Mother's. Coming to work with a borrowed Red Sox hat when it was all over was the best.

I wasn't ignoring your posts, but after my last post my laptop decided to quit working. It has been in best buy for the last 3 days. I lost all my pic's and my memory. They had to wipe my hard drive clean and reload windows. I have been aiming to back up my files and I just kept putting it off.:(

Thank's MoeJoe. It is my own fault. I just kept putting off backing up my files. The pics are what I'm going to miss the most. But looking at the bright side...my laptop is faster then it has been since it was new. I guess it thinks it's new since there is nothing on it now. I started putting my favorite web sites back on last night and I couldn't remember what the name of this site was but then I found it in one of my old e-mails from when I first joined here. Well we had better get back on topic.:)
