Kurt Busch doing the Double - Indy and Charlotte

Just don't tell him I call him Kurtie. He might not take it well.
Actually, he laughed. And said for you to cheer up, he'll win one soon (actual response).

I'm heading home now. Really long few days. I miss my family. Looking forward to a little time "away" from NASCAR. My next race isn't until Darlington. Hellooooooooooo couch.

Hmmmm.....I wonder how I'll look in a green bikini...

I think it's fantastic for Kurt and wish him luck .... The only problem I see is getting ready for the 500. It seems they take the entire month of May getting ready for it....I hope it doesn't affect his Cup effort, hopefully he has a win by May

They interviewed Kurt on Nascar Now last night and he gave some pretty good insight into what all he has to do to get ready and how they are planning on pulling off the double race. He is going to start a rigorous training schedule and even take a 3 month course in martial arts. He also layed out some of the logistics of their plans. Tony Stewart is behind him 100% and is going to help him through the whole process with advice and helping with the logistics. Tony said he would even furnish the jet and make the trip with him. Hopefully, Allenbaba will keep us all informed as much as he can. I can't remember the last time i was this excited about an Indy race.

Adjusting driving style from #IndyCar to #NASCAR is hard, but achievable by taping these to one's steering wheel.

not really a kyle fan, but respect his talent. and this kind of nailed my immediate thoughts. you don't play games in open wheel cars. tire to tire touch is a rocket launcher. hope he does well. love the idea of crossover racers. and now i will have someone to cheer for while watching indy.

It's Kurt not Kyle.

I know, I was just giving you a hard time. *snicker*

You have to feel pretty good about the Kurt love on this forum Lisa . You were a small voice in the middle of an angry linch mob not too long ago . Now you're heading his racing-forums fan club . Rehabilitation complete. :) Well done.

I know and there was really nothing I could do about it. People have their own opinions. Kurt will never be perfect, that is all I will say. I think he has done some growing. I know I did a lot when I got into my 40s. I did a lot of soul searching. Perhaps he has done that and I know Patricia has been so good for him.

@dcaraviello

Michael Andretti says on the live stream that Kurt Busch will be on-track tomorrow at Indianapolis for the first time since his rookie test.

I think he has a shot. Andretti cars are fast at Indy and he's one of the best talents in the world

good luck to kurt. and Lisa-happy someone here could enrich your day.

Now....who do I talk to about a DP autograph..lol...

His autograph and his attention meant so much to me. I'm going to scrapbook a page to put his autograph on. I don't know if any of your wives scrapbook but it's great fun. I also wear his hats all the time. :)
