Funny Andy, I still remember when you hated Kyle............but I'm glad that you have come around :)

...anyone who doesnt think that they are witnessing something special when we see Kyle winning races in his early years is missing something special.......this kid is going to outshine ALL that came before him........the King and Dale.......and I respect both of those guys as being the best!...until now..

Kyle Busch = Amazing. Love him or hate him, the guy is 'the man' right now in this sport! 5 of the first 10 races. Are you kidding me? What does it take to beat this guy?

A baseball bat would work...lol

This kid is going to win a lot of races. The only person he will not be able to catch for Sprint Cp wins is the King. But he will catch and pass everyone else if he stays healthy and gets good equipment to work with. Tis kid loves to win. That's the type of driver I can go for. Screw the points championship. Just give me the wins. I like drivers with a winning attitude.

You know seems like I remember that too. Also isn't Andy the one who don't like Nascar?

Well I've come around, at first I couldn't stand him but as I watched I was amazed at his raw talent. Sometimes I still don't like his mouth either, but I remember really hating DW and his mouth back in the day too. This kid has far more talent than DW and as already stated, will break all records.

As far as breaking all King Petty's record I'm not sure he can't win more top level races than the King did. Back in the day of the early Grand National Racing they ran several races per week and all the top dogs weren't at every race. To be honest many of them would not be considered Cup victories by todays standards. In fact I don't believe many of them would qualify as part of the top 3 tiers of NASCAR by the standards of today. JMHO.
My point being I believe Kyle will break all kinds of records in NASCAR's top 3 series and will have far more race wins than 200 in the top 3 series, last nights win was already 50 wins.

5 of the first 10 races? You mean 3?

Well its gonna be a long season for you Spike
Outside of the 3 wins and the race at Fontana, Busch has been mediocre in the Cup this year.

I don't love him, and I don't hate him. He is the best on the track right now. He can drive, but he still seems to be a arrogant punk. So did Jeff Gordon. I like Busch alot better than J.J. What a piece of cardboard. Good thin Jimmy Spencer is retired...

Sorry, your exactly right on those wins. I think I was still half asleep when I looked up my stats this morning. IMO it just seems like this guy is unstoppable. I'd be thrilled if my driver was having the mediocre year that Busch is having. A 30% winning percentage isn't bad at all!

Let me start by saying I do not hate or even dislike any of the drivers. Kyle was towards the bottom of my favorites just above his brother. I realized a while back that Kyle was towards the bottom of my list because of his brother.

Is it just me or did Kyle only come of age only after moving to Gibbs racing?

I don't recall Gordon being as arrogant and "punkish" as kyle. I still think he, at times, drives way over his head but so far he's been lucky and not seriously injured anyone. He will put the bump on the wrong guy one day and end up in the wall. To be honest I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.

His last year at Hendrick is when he started showing what he could do. I think moving to Gibbs (by being replaced at Hendrick) lit a fire under him.

He is raw talent in it's purest form. Fans hate him because he has more will to win and more ways to get it done than anyone else currently driving a stock car.

I remember hearing a lot of boos for Earnhardt Sr. and Gordon back in the 90s.

I'll tell you what, every week I go to the local short tracks. I see a lot of young kids and a lot of new fans to the sport wearing Kyle Busch shirts and hats. Sure, there are a lot of boos for him, but the cheers get louder every week. You can't keep kicking ass and winning races like he does and not win the crowd over, eventually.

I love it though. Fans boo at him and he does that pompous bow that pisses 'em off even more. They throw stuff at him and he just doesn't care. Part of me thinks he enjoys being the most hated driver in NASCAR. And as long as he backs that up with wins, I don't see why he should care.:beerbang:

Fans hate him because he is a whiny POS and throws hissy fits when things dont go his way.

F.Y.I. - I've seen Mr. Vickers wreck guys to win a race ... in fact, that's the only way he's ever won a race in Cup. And I've also seen him whine and cry when he lost. Whined about NASCAR throwing a caution for a wreck because he didn't get the chance to wreck Junyer for the win again.

I still don't like Kurt. He's more reckless than Kyle, except he has half the talent.

I hate to bring this up but did anyone notice his girlfriend? That girl is,,ah,,,,,,ah,,,,,,,,blessed:eek:

I'd pay a nickel to see her jump like this ->:whoopee:

:D:beerbang:

'Nuff said.

He has the wins but his average finish in 6 of the 10 races is like 25th.

Wins are pretty much all that matter during the first 26. He's going to make the chase and take the extra 10 points with him of reach race he won.

My opinion of Kyle is somewhat dependent on how my drivers are doing. If they are having a bad day (like last night) then it annoys me that he won again. If my drivers are doing well it bothers me less. ;)

The thing I think he needs to learn is that when you have a 10th place car trying to make it a first place car all by yourself usually hurts you and possibly several others. :( Now trying to make it a 5th place car as long as he's not hurting anyone else's chances to finish the race is OK by me. :D

It's standard equipment on the armholder of every Next Big Thing.

:growl:

And how many of you think this girl would be with Kyle if he wasn't a NASCAR driver?!!! For that matter, how many of these drivers wouldn't have hot wives/girlfriends if they weren't race car drivers, esp. in the top series? I'm sure she cares about him now, but if he was every day Joe in a bar, do you think she would have given him a second look? And yes, women can be shallow..so there! I will admit when I was younger, a good looking guy would catch my attention first. Those that I didn't find all that attractive at first, became MORE attractive as I got to know them and vice versa.

When I was in college, all the girls used to talk about this guy who looked like "Serpico." It was the late 70s - not sure when the movie was out, but anyway, he had that "look." I met him in the college pub one night and he had zero between the ears, meaning he could barely put a sentence together. I was so disillusioned! LOL Never did care whether I saw him or not after that. ;)

I don't care how my drivers are doing, poor or well. I still can't stand him. He's arrogant when he's winning and when he doesn't like how things go, he dumps on his crew and RUNS AWAY to his bus or whatever. Now that I've enjoyed watching! LOL He's also really wreckless and he was damn lucky a couple of times he didn't take out others, along with himself last night. I agree he's talented, but he needs to grow up a little and use a little more patience at certain times. I guess we have a personality conflict. :D

And you were how old then? I guess it depends on whether it was the early 90s or late 90s, huh? ;)
