I would be laughing too hard myself. I think it is the dumbest move in my history of watching races to get rid of Kyle Busch. This would compare to getting rid of Jeff Gordon, or Jimmie Johnson in their prime and then have to turn around and have to compete against him.
Four wins. Four years. This story has yet to play out. Kyle has a few less championships than those guys Sparky....and Kyle is higher maintenance than those guys. Definitely not the same thing....but you are glowing, so carry on.

Can you do math Rev? 9 wins in 4 years lol. 11 in Xfinity and his truck team has 11 by him and the rest of his truck team has 19 wins for a total of 30 truck series wins in the same 4 year period. Karma comes for the back stabber.

Sorry 4 wins in the last 3 years. Man, you are sensitive for your boy....and now we count Xfinity and Truck wins as significant when we once viewed those as taking candy from babies. Of course, we see those as significant. Of course.

....and now you keep KFB stats too?! OUTSTANDING!

My post was about what a questionable move it was to get rid of Busch..But you continue to get all emotional about concrete stats and numbers proving a point. Go buy a Tyler hat and enjoy the season. This isn't yota business anymore. Go over to your Joe shrine or David's and tell them your troubles. They are the ones that created the problem.

This is the same driver that SOU said should have been dumped after Hornaday, and now you defend him as if he has been screwed. He hasn't. WE put up with more of his **** than anybody else would have for 15 years. Regardless of whether or not we know what he makes now, a few assumptions are reasonable: 1) He isn't making what he did last year, 2) He isn't making what Denny is making given when their respective deals were made, 3) He would rather take less from a guy promising him the world than somebody who once paid him more, and 4) He has even come close to figuring out the Next Gen. Trying like hell to secure a Tyler hat, but I have several 23XI hats to suffice for now, but I am open to you buying me one. WE don't have a problem. WE have a bright future.

Busch will have more wins than ty gibbs this year. Who wants to take tgat bet?
A two time Cup champion generational talent will win more races than a rookie??? OMG GTFO NOT POSSIBLE

I think Kyle will either win multiple races, or things will blow up pretty spectacularly. I don't think there will be a middle ground, quiet, Austin Dillon type season, without fireworks in my opinion. Because if so, then he's matured TREMENDOUSLY. Which is possible I guess. I've seen many drivers humbled by massive pay cuts.

If I had to bet money, I'd bet on the former, and without much hesitation. I think he'll have a good season. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't rooting for the latter just a little bit, if only for the entertainment value. It would be amazing to watch unfold.

If his brother matured after his assassin-ex was out of the picture, Kyle can too. Too bad that Kurt and his new wife broke up. Also, REALLY like Kurt in the booth

Could Kyle go through a kurt type transformation or is his ego too big? Kurt was hated every bit as much as Kyle if not more. A drastic change in the way he treats people (on camera at least) changed all that.

What the hell are you talking about? @StandOnIt has these as statements of fact.
Good to see you and Bobby hanging out in the RCR/Busch/Camaro thread. There is a Yota Bell thread ya know. He ain't happy with pious Joe making yet another blunder in cutting off Bell's dirt racing career. It's funny Bell was talking about the yota brass talking about hireing Bell because they didn't want another Larson like loss when they signed Bell up, and here Joe is stabbing another driver in the back. It's no wonder the yotas are looking for more teams. I think Kyle B got out before it got really crazy and Bell is looking it sounds like.

Well, I knew you were worried about KB for the last 15 years. Must have been hard on ya. Glad you are at peace with your boy.

I know about Coach and Bell. It's not like guys are flying out of cars or anything as they tumble....wait. Grassroots is cozy until somebody dies. Bell will be fine.

FWIW.....You have always been in the KB thread even long ago when you hated him. Role reversal. Looking forward to you covering for him. It exhausted me.

Nothing says, "I'm gonna **** up everybody at JGR and Toyota," more than this pic. @StandOnIt is trembling with anticipation.

That's why I've really come around on Joey over the last few years. Like I've said before, say what you will about him, but that dude leaves it all out there on the track. No matter what happens any given week, whether he was the bat, the ball, or neither, you can count on him getting out of his car with that huge, goofy, toothy grin on his face. I love his relentless positivity. ^_^

I just read through most of this thread.

Mods. Can we please get an exclusive thread for @StandOnIt and @Revman to just entertain the board? These two are forces of nature.

Although, I'm not sure actually. It's sort of like Christmas...you click on a thread for the first time in days, or weeks, not knowing what you'll see...and BOOM. Rev vs SOI round 374,858,283.

I suppose you can't always predict nature.

The weekly soap opera called Nascar begins for yet another year. If nothing else the Clash in L.A. is good for getting it started. Logano's car was back marker stuff all day long. He had to get into the race by way of the LCQ and the car wasn't any better in the race even after the half time break. The car was nothing but a weapon and for whatever reason he chose KDB to take it out on. I don't think it is over between those two.

I have said it before, and I will say it again. @StandOnIt and I watching a race together would be epic....in a good way. People who don't give a **** about this sport don't spend this much time giving a **** about this sport.

Truth. Kyle just hates the way he is, and Joey just keeps being Joey. Maybe Joey can get him a gift card to the Hair Club or something.

Kyle is 9th on the Cup all-time win list. Joey is 29th.
🫤
How many wins did Kyle have at the number of starts Joey has right now? They have a difference of 138 races, and Kyle only has like 29 more wins.

Don’t even gotta look, because I did. He had more wins still, but he had 51 wins at the time. Where would that put him on the all time wins list when he had the same amount of starts that Joey has now?

A lot has changed in the past 15 years. I don’t believe Joey will get 60+ wins.

I never have understood when drivers have a disagreement "wins" are brought into the argument, like somehow that makes a difference. Pretty stupid reasoning if ya ask me. Joey's taller and has more hair.
