Kyle Busch to RCR

Built on JGR money, sold on RCR money…

15k sq ft? That’s 15x what my humble hovel is!
I wish I could come up with a snarky comment but that is incredibly beautiful. Damn I wish I had that kind of money

Another race....another spin. Kyle's mastery of the Next Gen continues to impress.

How many wins you got, Hoss, just in the Cup series? Are you in that dozen or do you got none?
0....but again, I got a dozen taking care of that for me. I love ya man....just frustrated about Ty's lack of spins......I mean wins.

No worries. My frustration comes from your bashing a driver that is on the top ten all time win list…you’d be on board with him if he still drove a Toyota.

It is astounding to me that he hasn't figured the Next Gen out. All of the greats seem to be able to adapt. He just hasn't, and honestly, it is a surprise. Pretty fascinating really....he says that the lack of practice and the lower profile tire are the culprits. Yep, 100% I would be onboard with him if he still drove a Toyota. I have never denied that.

His drop-off began almost immediately after practice was discontinued due to COVID. That was in the old car when he was still with Gibbs. The return of a reduced number of shorter practices weren't enough for him with that car, and they aren't with the new one either. Team, car, and manufacturer appear to be irrelevant. Kyle has shown for four years that he needs more practice time each week but those days are gone. Anyone expecting significant sustained improvement hasn't been paying attention.

Team, car, and manufacturer are relevant. Team.....RCR is the first team that has left him winless in a season in 20 years. Car....He wasn't spinning out every race with the old car.....Manufacturer.....He isn't the big dog in the Chevy stable, so nobody gives a ****. He has fallen into irrelevancy....and he isn't that old. Having said all of that, my boy @StandOnIt will run his mouth about Coach dumping him, but it seems like he dumped him just in time.....and when you look at the Kenseth deal......maybe Coach knows a thing or two as harsh as that is......

Kyle's win less problems began with the Yotas. His last three years with the yotas he only won 4 races, squeaking by by winning a dirt race at Bristol when both of the leaders wrecked out. He won 3 races the first year in the Chevys. The second year in a Chevy lost a squeaker with 2 other cars at Atlanta. The preacher pulled the ol' WE can't find a sponsor trick and dropped him. Kyle has had no problem finding sponsors since. He just picked up a couple more last week. I'm hysterically glad he is racing for the Chevys, and is racing various dirt cars he wasn't allowed to do under the preachers strict tutelage.

I’m just enjoying the downfall. He’s still the petulant child he always was. I don’t care what he drives, if it doesn’t go his way it’s someone else’s fault. If it does, it’s because of him. Can’t tolerate that type of conceit. Can’t wait for Hamlin’s downfall. Should start any day now…
