Kyle Busch to retire from Xfinity Series after reaching win 100

Hmm..Gee I couldn't tell by looking at the empty seats! Look i'd love to see the glory days of the late 90s and early 2000s come back, but I'm not going to look at through rose colored glasses. The reality is sponsors are leaving, who is going to pay?
Automotive is the number one sponsor group. Food, pharmaceuticals follow, TV rights etc.

You wanted the PG-13 version of him, I thought you did not like the PG rated KyBu?

Kyle is Kyle. There has always been one. The media et al. bit on the "New Kyle." He will win again. He will appear to be happy....and we will start this new Kyle v. old Kyle all over again.

You guys will utter you last breath spitting vitriol toward Kyle Busch. Congratulations.

There's a thread. We post. Very little effort required. ;)

I'm often reminded of a guy I saw at Richmond several years ago. Every time I looked in that direction, he was standing up giving the #24 a single-fingered salute. As far as I could tell, he spent the entire race watching someone he apparently wanted the rest of us to think he hated. This was way before the terms 'bromance' or 'man crush' became popular.

Kyle and his back watching stuff....Man, that was all Kyle just screwing around. He doesn't believe that, and I bet that Coach didn't bat an eyelash at it. It was more of a comment referring to the success KBM has had in developing talent. No question, Kyle knows how secure he is at JGR. As for Coach's comment about Matt....What would you like him to do.....Go to Pockrass, and say, "His ass is gone in a year,"? I think that the culture is pretty strong at JGR.
Well there it is on the front page, Kyle Busch on Matt Kenseth development "we're watching our backs that's for sure". About preacher Joe? Don't say you are going to keep Kenseth publicly at a press conference when you already know he will be replaced..It is called two face back stabbing for those who put a premium on the truth. It goes to credibility. Gibbs has never had any IMO in Nascar.

Was kind of shocked when I heard the bews but I like it. 100 wins in any series is an accomplishment and a great marker for others to strive for.

Didn't say anything about Trucks so I assume he'll continue running them. Might be going for 100 there as well. Could also see him run in the trucks full time once he retires from Cup if KBM is still going.

The watching his back comments are true although a bit sarcastic but something every driver is will have to do eventually. The guy has done a great job with KBM and developing these young drivers. So much that JGR cant even keep them all and have lost guys like Byron and Bubba.

Should be interesting to see how long it takes him to reach 100 and who's going to prolong his Xfinity retirement. Every thing is great.

If it goes PPV, who's going to watch, people won't care about it, hell now less and less people care every week. I used to watch every race every week, I've watched 1 race this year, the 600. Nascar, unless they chage the quality of the product, won't be able to attract sponsors and without them...no Cup.

Nascar going to PPV may not be a bad thing as there are a lot of people that are committed fans of the series and they may grumble but they would ante up. PPV would finish off the casual fan like me or people kicking the tires on the series to see if it was something they would like though.

I've never had any use for Gibbs, I didn't buy his fake insincerity back then and he has continued to prove me right. He has evolved to be a two face backstabber in addition to that. got no problems with Barney's Yotas, he's a straight shooter

By saying Gibbs faked his insincerity back then you are saying that he really was sincere but was pretending not to be. What's up with that?

I'm not a casual fan, no way in hell I'd watch Nascar ppv.

There is a lot about Nascar I don't care for but there are still things I like and I consider myself to be a casual fan of cup racing as I don't follow the other series. I would not change my programming package in order to receive Nascar broadcasts, would not subscribe to a PPV package or watch the races at all if I had to watch them in real time. As long as I can record them and catch up to real time or watch them later I am happy as I can see as little or as much as I want without wasting an afternoon.

Cause we think there is still hope you will watch a NASCAR race this year.:)
I'm not. I've already made that decision.
I'm going to go to the two 2018 races that I usually attend, only for the purpose of hanging with friends and family.
What kills my interest in NASCAR:
1. Ridiculous point system.
2. Playoff format.
3. Stages.
4. Fake cautions.
If these things change (go away), I would again be a NASCAR fan. I don't see these things going away so I'm not going to get my hopes up. TBH, I haven't really missed watching NASCAR on TV this year. I'm satisfied occasionally checking the "live leaderboard."
I don't care who becomes the Champion or how they accumulated their points.
Someone should do a fact-based NASCAR documentary on the killing of a sports fan.

There it is

The big boys are trying to control the internet, Foxfire is fighting them on it urging people to email their displeasure. So sick of the gatekeepers always trying to find a way to screw everybody..
