When asked today in a TV interview, Kyle was asked what could he do to change his bad luck. Kyle said "I don't know this has been going on for years". Was he talking about the car or the crew, or himself I wonder.

I dont know but it sounded snarky to me. I bet some drivers wish they had some of his luck sometimes. I bet he is a royal pain in the ass to work with.

I actually think that the Busch brothers have had some simply pitiful luck in the past 5 years. But I wouldnt complain about 4th.

It was a Typical Kyle interview for 2nd and farther back, long face, short answers. When asked what happened, he said "after Jimmy passed us about midpoint in the race, we took a dump". I only have to guess again at what he meant. Was it the car, or his crew? A tire going down, what?

Maybe he "shipped" his pants and just couldn't get comfortable behind the wheel after that.

You may be right pjmolo, one of his fellow drivers might have slipped him something in his M&M's. Kez was talking about his dirty driving in the N'wide, called it the Kyle pass.

Lol...he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. People are going to complain no matter what he does. If he didn't give an interview, we'd be hearing about that. He gives an interview, now we're complaining about how long his answers were. Lol.

you have to be available to be interviewed if you are top five or better. Instead of doing Toyota damage control, he says they took a dump? It's all about Kyle. I think this is another form of meltdown.

So he should be that no personality, complain about nothing, don't speak your mind driver that most on here say they don't want?

He almost lost his ride like his brother, didn't mention his sponsor, or his team, except if you want to use "taking a dump"? Nothing about his decent finish? Speaking your mind is one thing, but when the camera is on, "I don't know, this has been going on for years" (whatever that means) and taking a dump? You not only have to be a good driver in this sport, but you have many other lives and livelihoods to consider. It isn't all about Kyle. Spoiled Brat comes to mind.

Haters gonna hate.

Well the great drivers in Nascar history, don't throw their team and sponsors under the bus in my opinion. If you want to call that a hater so be it. I don't hate the guy, used to be a big fan, most of his fans like him because he wins, they love to back a winner. But I am not going to pout like a spoiled self centered brat like he does when he doesn't get first place. As long as he keeps it up, I don't see him going anywhere in cup. the "bad luck" will continue. Toyota motors are right on the edge, that is why they are the fastest cars out there, but the downside is reliability. He doesn't understand that. All is well when he can zoom around with the fastest car, he thinks it is all him when he wins, and the cars fault when he looses. Give him a slower motor that is reliable and watch him whine.

Dale Earnhardt Sr . used to say that he ran the engine as hard as he could run every lap . He said it was his job to do that , it was someone elses job to make the engine last , not his . I know you will ask me for a quote , when it comes out of my brain , I'll send it to you.

Kyle's all ego. When he wins, it's because he's the greatest driver in the world. When he loses, it's because his team sucks. NASCAR is a team sport and Kyle's gonna find out one day that his team doesn't have his back if he doesn't have theirs.

Like I have said before, driver controversy is what makes this forum so exciting. I wasn't sure what you were going to come up with this week...but I new you guys wouldn't let me down. Now this week will go by fast. :D :lurk: :dpepsi:

What bad luck? He's ninth in the points, with two wins that almost guarantee a spot in the Chase, and owner that's been extremely tolerant of his shenanigans. This weekend two Toyota stablemates lost engines while he ran strong all day. The question was designed to poke an ant hill just to watch what happens, not to gain any relevant information.

People here want Kyle to be a Jimmy Johnson style robot. NASCAR has enough drivers without personalities, we don't need another.

There's a difference between having a personality and, well, being a dick. I've grown to like Kurt because he's a wheelman but honestly, he's not a bad guy, he just has an anger management problem that he's dealing with quite impressively this year.

Chad Hachenbracht will be driving Kyle's #51 this weekend. Looks like it is his first time in a truck. Could Kyle be listening to us and using his three truck team to give new drivers a shot? Chad is in the ARCA series 47 races ran, with the last two years full time.

I guess you are not aware of who is driving his other trucks. If you were, you would not have posted this.

Coulter, Wallace jr, Hachenbracht, hell that's three for three, he's still an ass but he's got three up and comers in his trucks. In My Opinion.

Oh but I am and I did.o_O My problem is his driving in the truck series, too much talent and an unfair advantage. IMO.

Kid grew up 15 minutes from me in New Philadelphia, OH. Very excited for him. Huge opportunity.
