He damn sure felt that one, lucky boy right there now.
If that happens, he'll be a full time World of Outlaws driver.I wonder if a no dirt racing contract clause is coming
right. do you think hes affected by an accident like that LF1995?If that happens, he'll be a full time World of Outlaws driver.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Kyle Larson says being allowed to race on dirt tracks will play a key role in which Cup team he competes for after the 2020 season.
Larson’s contract expires after next season. While social media has put him in the No. 48 car when Jimmie Johnson completes his final full-time season next year, there is no guarantee he’ll leave Chip Ganassi Racing for Hendrick Motorsports

great discussion!Yeah, I think that is at least partial BS.....every zero they put on the backside of that offer is one less dirt race he is willing to run. He already compromises himself by being in Cup anyway. Same deal with Bell IMO. I don't think either one of them is willing to give up their mansions (Bell's on the way I'm sure) for their hobby.
great discussion!
I feel the oney is important but larson is a REAL racer. maybe @Larsonfan1995 can give us some insight into what drives the guy. I dont think its just dolla bills
Larson is young enough he needs to either focus on dirt or cup racing. He could easily sign a 5 year deal, make that money, and when he’s fulfilled his obligation go run dirt full time if that’s what he wants. I really think he only runs this series for a paycheck which is a shame
Seeing both of them down on the track after the wreck is kind of scary. I know this stuff happens all the time, but it still gets to me. When running with those low concrete walls the driver is really exposed on these flips. Thankfully they both flipped away from the wall.
He definitely loves racing on dirt and is one of the best at it. Why else would he choose to spend 2 of the major holidays Thanksgiving / Christmas away from home at a race track doing what racers love to do...Race. He is the main reason I choose to spend about $350.00 and Thanksgiving away from home at a dirt race in Ventura Ca each year.great discussion!

The Cup money is real.
I'm just glad that they are both OK. I'm scared their next contracts will prohibit racing outside of Nascar sanctioned events when I see this.https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2019/1...k-in-first-night-of-new-zealand-midget-races/
Wonder what @Clutch thinks of this
thanks clutch.I'm just glad that they are both OK. I'm scared their next contracts will prohibit racing outside of Nascar sanctioned events when I see this.
No way Larson or Bell are here for the money. They love dirt.
And of course whomever does well at Western Springs, New Zealand at Christmas often wins at the Chili Bowl.
I had to work yesterday unfortunately and couldn't be there. I'm literally a 10 minute drive from my home to the track.
They head to Tauranga tomoro to race and I'll hopefully watch them next week when they are back here.

Hmm and Pickens won the thing. He has been running quite a few races this year in the U.S. also and we know he loves to run the Chili Bowl. Had to be a popular win at Springs between NZ, Aus and the USA
He was not injured.
Wrecks like these 2 are the reason that a lot owners at the top level don't allow their drivers to do stuff like this. I know if I were paying someone a couple million a year plus having a whole shop full of employees whos job depends on my driver I wouldn't want to see him tumbling down a dirt track.
I get it Larson likes this stuff and hes one heck of a talent, but IMO that wreck may have just lowered his free agency stock.
He pretty much does have one. Both Bell and Larson aren't racing for Kuntz/Curb Racing this year in the Chili Bowl. Bell is driving a Billy Boat built car and Larson is driving his own, built by Paul Silva. 7 wins and a 4th so far for LarsonI hope Larson has a special car already ready for the Chili Bowl.

there are little or no rules for the chili bowl,so a lot of teams build cars just for this race.
