I have noticed many players don't know the rules and that includes the drivers.
 
The bonehead of the race was KDB thinking he had to win the race on the first pit stop.
He did manage to maybe lose the race because of his dumb move.

Has to be Busch....he was fast today and could have won.
 
TV Announcers...two gems I picked up on.
1. On a couple cars staying out longer on green flag pit stops. Talking about keeping all these cars down 1 lap if a caution came out, when about 20 of them would be eligible for a waive around. trying to make drama when it really doesn't exist.
2. On the restart of stage 3. The intensity is only going to pick up on all the restarts from here on out. None happened yesterday, so I guess we have a lot to look forward to on the Phoenix restarts.
 
The announcers hyped up the attrition before the race. Only one car did not finish.

Hard pick between Rowdy and his speeding penalty or the crew members get penalized.
 
I think not having a track bar to adjust not only hurt Busch, but would have bit Logano if they had a couple more laps to race, Kez's car was better. Good non bonehead move on Nascar for removing it. Yep Busch had a fast car but Busch speeding on pit row forced him to use up his stuff, saying it was the car's fault after he ran the tires off of it was my opinion of a bonehead. The hands on the ground penalty was very petty IMO. IDK if teams had been warned about that, more believable would be Nascar warning them about having their feet in the box and there was a misunderstanding about hands IDK, it didn't play well with me anyway and I don't think it came over well for the TV viewers, much less for the fans in the stands.

Why was the brake package an item? All I read on here is they never let off the gas and the cars are so easy to drive their grandmother could race. :sarcasm:
