1. Guess what wasn't around "back in the day"? Necessary social media has only been around for give it take 5 years.
2. You're right. College education on the most up to date mass communication's necessities means I haven't a clue on what I'm explaining. Here's a hint, when someone offers simple insight, do not take it as an insult to your intelligence. You look like a douche.
3. Yes, a lot of major companies use agents to communicate on social media, but guess what they are still using to communicate with associates? Social media.
4. You haven't the slightest idea on what it takes to make it to the top in today's world - not your "back in the day" world. Technology has taken over everything related to business in the past 5 years. Catch up slow poke.
If people don't wanna use it for their social life, it's up to them. But it is almost a necessity to create a separate business profile for companies to communicate with you and masses of others at the same time. Facebook resumes are also becoming extremely popular and valuable for up & comers to land a solid job.
You're the one who's taking offense.
You're even assuming stuff about me without knowing the first thing of what you're talking about.
This has nothing to do with college education or the "most up to date" (Like that makes a lick of difference besides letting me know you are in college, big whoops dude, so have I.) education. Its about whether you could be successfull without it which YES you can.
You're going around in circles saying the same thing. You're just defending this "Facebook and Twitter is needed" because you're majoring in what I can guess, the field of communations.
You are one of those people who are "never wrong" types.
I'm done with you and this subject.
On and for your info, my family owns a small business venture they started from scratch so I must have at least some "slight" idea of what I'm talking about.
