Legacy to Toyota

I agree with this 100%. Well said. I think the culture would be right for Kyle. In my opinion, this is the only option I can think of that doesn't humiliate Kyle....but I think there would be conditions....you cannot have his bull**** here. He has to be patient. Big asks of Kyle.
Nothing against Kyle but what he's shown in this car he's just not the guy I trust getting my program to where it needs to be.

Also before we all pile on Legacy about being in the position they're in we have to remember for someone to improve someone has to get worse. We're not going to be 36 wide coming to the finish. So given resources who do you think they should be beating? Generally to take that next step you need a massive improvement all around.

BJ admitted part of him selling the charter was that they spent over a million more his last year and actually ran worse. The capital needed to make the jump to the next level didn't make sense.

IDK what will happen with Heim but there seems to be a logjam at 2311. The natural thing to do would be to put Heim in the 35 car but maybe Heim can’t bring sponsors.

If the 35 is locked down with a driver & sponsorship would you consider sending Bubba to Legacy & putting Heim in the 23? It would be a bold move and an initial step backward but would it reap rewards in a year or so? Bubba is not normally a threat to win (1 win since 2022 & 1 top 5 this year) but do you keep him on due to him being fairly dependable or do you put a talented young gun in the car? Would the 23’s sponsors stay with MJ or bolt with Bubba?

Heim will be 24 soon so how long do you keep him in the minors when he’s ready for the majors?

Well according to Denny now that they won they lawsuit they no longer have to worry about the money a driver brings in because the sanctioning body gives them enough. So I mean it should just be hiring based on pure talent from here on out.

Anyone that chooses Riley over Heim is just plain and simple dumb. Yeah hes a more talented driver than me, but I can't see any case where a person could argue he's better than Heim.

Bubba isn't going anywhere wins or not, he draws too much money, those are just facts. That demographic is grossly undeserved in Nascar and 23XI will gladly talk advantage of the opportunity. I think he's a good driver, at times, but his own mind has always been his biggest enemy. Look at martinsville, he threw away a good finish there.
