Let's Talk Talladega

This race doesn't look any different than before with the exception that fewer cars are staying in the lead draft, something that almost no one said would happen.

This is sad for NASCAR to put these boys in harm's way for the sake of a ticket price.

Notice that it was fire and rescue looking over Burton's car in the garage area. Interesting. Not a bad idea, but I didn't know they would do that.

I've been watching the RPM's of the cars and Jr was one of them that was consistantly hitting 8700. The next car to blow will probably be the #01 car of Almirola. I saw him hit 8800 a couple of times. None of the others did I see get over 8500.
 
Something must be wrong with Harvick now as he's dropping back from the draft and his RPM is now underder 8000
 
Well, there it is. Wonder what happened to Labonte. And now there are only two RCR engines left.
 
He's still out there though and if they can keep him there, he might pick up some points on some of the other Chase contenders. :)
 
I bet the RCR/DEI engine shop gets the whip laid on them tomorrow.

Something had to have happened to Bobby's car --- he's just not prone to losing a car.
 
I sure don't like

the PEPSI paint on Jeffy's car... even the numbers are a different color.. I cannot find him in the pack..

He does that at some tracks where he needs to be in stealth mode to sneak up on the others... ;)
 
Sounds like the 01 car is also down a cylinder. Yep, they are bringing Almirola in now...and then there's one left...
 
Just heard that Kahne has a limiter chip in the box that is primary. They told him that if he needed it near the end that he could switch boxes and that would allow for higher RPM.
 
DANG, Mikey was aving a decent run, and Raines, Sadler and Biffle involved! :(
 
Have one for me TRL. Tony hung himself out to dry before that wreck.
 
I'm on my second red and hoping for a good finish for Kasey. I think I just heard them tell him to switch boxes. Okay, it's about time to rock and roll.
