Long Pond

Agreed. But then you'll have guys here accuse us of having short attention spans. Nothing could be further from the truth.

This race is becoming more about endurance.

These races haven't been about endurance for years. Used to be that a 500 mile race, nobody knew because the final 150 miles, engines would pop left and right.

Now the engines can run 600 miles without problem and the tires can last forever. Hell, I've seen the ARCA guys run over 100 laps on a set of tires at Rockingham.

Kyle wants Denny to drop back so he can get a point? Wouldn't that put Kyle right on Denny's bumper? Yeah, right.

I meant endurance for my me.

Maybe I'm a sucker for punishment but I still somewhat enjoy a somewhat boring race

I'm actually hoping for a fuel mileage race.

Got to give ESPN credit, they've got a TERRIBLE race and they're doing an awesome job. Allen Bestwick is the man!

Bestwick: There's no way rain could be a factor, don't rule it out.

That's the truth. I've driven home from racetracks because of thunderstorms on many 0% chance of rain before.

Is there a bigger jerk on the planet, let along in NASCAR, than Kurt Busch?

They say a win's a win. But let's be honest - a Cup win via a rain stoppage will always have an asterisk attatched to it.

Looking like Logano may fluke his 2nd. Take 'em whichever way you can get 'em, I guess.

I am certainly glad to see JR having a good day. He sounds more positive on the radio today than I ever remember hearing before.

There is another cell coming, by the time they get the track dry it looks like more rain will move in.
