<sigh> Sure wish they'd bring back Winter heat. Remember back in the early 90's racing on short, very short, tracks in the south west. Also the beginning of the truck series IIRC. Got to see Ron Hornaday and others before they moved up,.
 
I'm laid up this weekend with an injured knee. Friday I watched the last IMSA race I had on tape. That was good for several hours, but it was the only recorded race I had left.

I have NCAAF, the NFL and the NHL to keep me out of trouble and I am grateful for that. Maybe you could watch some racing on YouTube?

Oh, how I miss Winter Heat, too. Those races were so much fun to watch.
Part of the fun was listening to Benny Parsons.

I’m in the same boat you’re in, on vacation from work myself I go back tomorrow and the only race I had left was the 2017 Indy Car finale . Think I’ll be YouTubing old school nascar races from the mid 90’s shortly.
 
Only 10 Sundays to go! I plan to kill the weekends with NASCAR Heat 2.
 
I was out with my elderly father for a beer today at our local Elks club. We watched the early NFL games and I had a fleeting thought that I'd get home to see the end of the race....ah, no. I'm feelin the void but truly, this is probably the shortest off-season in sports.
 
Yeah my weekends were tough also, Went Sporting Clays shooting Sat and Sunday and getting ready for two upcoming Quail hunts, plus, rejoiced in not having to listen to Rick Allen! :booya::D

Makes me wonder if I will be able to get through another season. Right now I am considering moving over to taking lessons on Knitting and sewing.

Gods, I'd love to find a good standalone computer cribbage game or online forum. My father is my only live competitor, and he doesn't live nearby. Most of the games I've found either make scoring too complicated (esp. muggins), are too easy too beat, or both. The best I ever saw was Dreamquest Championship Cribbage, but their website hasn't been update in years and refuses to license new installations.

Time to take some online birding courses, maybe.
 
Snowball Derby coming up will be great, my buddy Richie Bickle is coming back to try to win #6! Thats gonna be worth watching right there.

Rich Bickle is an absolute stud at The Snowball Derby. If I'm not mistaken, he's the guy with the most wins in the Derby. He's a short track super star, no doubt.
