dam dvr missed the last 10 laps, where can i see these?
thanks brad

id say youtube probably has a video or two of the race, or at least the closing laps to it.

I always put an hour and a half extension on my recordings, on FiOS DVR. I'd do more, but my roommates forced me to limit it in our little...agreement...

Been there.. now whenever I have to miss a race I always set it to record the shows for the next hour or so after the race.. you never know when it will go long.. especially with rain in the forecast. Then when it ends you just start the next recording.

MIne will keep recording till the race ends. It doesn't record to the time but to the show...if you know what I mean.

I would rather watch the race from your link every week
is this possible?
Is this link live at every race or is it posted later?
I could cancel my dish if I could get all the races live streaming especially if I could tune in after the race has started.
Every race (Cup, Xfinity, Trucks, K&N, Modified, ARCA, IndyCar, Indy Lights and Cup Qualifying) is uploaded on that site (some races also on the Youtube channel theLP2008) a few hours after the TV broadcast finished and commercials are cut out. (Unfortunately this guy will stop recording and uploading races after this season.)
I always use that site when I can't watch a race live. If I can, I watch them live on YouTube.

Some You Tube shows are blocked in Canada. I also noticed some US newspapers are blocked also. Who said the internet is global?

donthaveanickname To use this site do I have to download and subscribe to anything. I checked the link posted and it is for Daytona only.

I never had to download or subscribe to anything.
The link posted by clutch is the homepage (searching thelp2008.com will link you to that site as well.) Click ''All-Series'' on the left side, choose whatever series you want to watch and then choose whatever race you want to watch.
Works perfect for me every time.

How does it know when the race ends tho?

I'm not at all sure but if the program keeps going so does the recording.
I don't record each race. At the start of the season I chose to record the series. The whole Monster Energy Nascar Cup Series. It just automatically records the race.....no matter how long it goes. Here is my Indy race recording from last week that I just thought I'd watch the end of.....456 minutes because it recorded until the end.
We have magic downunder....

My DVR is set to continue for an extra hour past the end of the scheduled broadcast time for all sports programs. I think there's an option for 90 and even 120 minutes extra.

I keep mine at 1 1/2 hours over.
