Kurt Busch jumped off a building after James Finch announced he is going to Dodge...next week. He'll be using Penske cars.

Bruton is going to announce the installation of gutter bumpers on Bristol Motor Speedway that will create a single grove for racing. These bumpers will be similar to what is used for children's bowling parties so that everyone is a winner. Passing cannot occur unless the trailing car bumps or pushes the leading car out of the way thus forcing the lead car to the back of the pack. This will dramatically increase the number of caution laps tenfold bringing back the racing that we all came to love in Bristol's early years.

Bruton was overheard this morning saying, 'The fans have spoken. They have stated that two and three abreast racing is no way to decide a race. They want more cautions. They want more disabled race cars. They enjoy seeing the pace car lead battle for the lead lap bonus. If this doesn't bring that fans to their feet, I don't know what will.'
 
The spouse and I were at Bristol Sunday, $290 for 2 Earnhardt Terrace tickets, $513.78 for 2 nights at the La Quinta Inn, overall cost of the trip for just the cup race was about $1400. Make the racing good again Bruton.
 
Maybe Brian France is getting ready to announce the reinstatement of Jeremy Mayfield to the Cup ranks after finally admitting that he did indeed have a vendetta against the former druggie driver.
 
Probably changing the schedule due to the $5.00 a gallon gas prices
 
Add me to the list of people thinking that this will be another attention whoring announcement from Bruton. Hopefully he announces slashed ticket and camping prices along with the (unnecessary) track changes.
 
Maybe Dale Earnhardt Jr. is changing his number from 88 to 888 in an effort to promote better race results for he and his team?
 
Perhaps Bruton is getting ready to announce his newly configured speedways motto, 'Racing The Way It Yousta Be!

I'd be willing to bet that you are correct on this prediction. If they were to make that announcement it most certainly would be on Dave Moody's show @ 3:00pm. I'll be rooting for your prediction.
 
Maybe it is a 3pm Chad Knaus press conference announcing that not only did he dupe NASCAR with his C-post scam, he also got one over on the Chief Appellate Officer, John Middlebrook.
 
NA$$CAR will announce that the 48 team was in violation of the rule called "Actions Detrimental to Stock Car Racing" because they refused to accept the penalties NA$$CAR levied against them. Therefore, Chadski and Mr. Hendrick will both be suspended for 6 weeks - with the penalties set to start on November 19th, which just happens to be the Monday AFTER the final race of the 2012 season.

I think that it is something like that .Rick just said on his radio show that a major announcement would be made relating to the 'way we do things around here' at Sirius/XM .
 
Too cool! I can't believe NASCAR allowed the reins to slip a little.
 
I dunno, you have to pay another what....2 bucks a month for Sirius streaming.....

This is not as big a deal as they make it sounded IMO....

For most maybe not. For me this is huge news. This now means that I can drop a couple of my subscribed radios and possibly go internet only. I'll save a bundle using the Android app instead of an activated radio.

Sure, but how much data are we talking?

Also...this may change my mind...is channel 90 not available at all on line? or just the races?
