Hillarious thing just happpened now. I got hit with a 500 error page entering a 500 server error thread. Hahahahaha

I wish I knew how to admin a server. I've been at this for what, 15 years now?

We're trying some things to reduce the load on the server. It obviously has enough hardware thrown at it, just needs some TLC to figure out where the hold up is. I wish I had enough dough/spare time to do this often, but I just barely lucked out on a moment to take a looksee this evening.

Let me know if things improve or stay the same from this moment, I changed a config setting on the server (got rid of query cache) and one of the game devs optimized a query in their game that was taking up more than its fair share of time.
