I used to hate Duke myself, but Coach K is a huge part of why that changed over the years. He is a hell of a coach and a really classy guy. Another part is that I knew people who grew up with nothing and busted their asses to get into places like Annapolis and Duke and really rise above their circumstances and I realized that Duke isn't all just trust fund kids who had everything handed to them their entire lives. There's a lot of that, but it's not all like that, and even if it is, class envy, while natural, doesn't do anything to make me any better.
 
Kentucky-Wichita State was one of those fantastic games where both teams deserved to win.
 
Haters are gonna hate, but I like Kentucky. Mostly, I dislike the ultra corrupt NCAA and how they worked with the NBA to get a rule where players can't go right to the NBA out of high school so the NCAA could make tons of money off of these kids playing college ball for free. John Calipari took advantage of the system and the NCAA hates him and Kentucky for it. They say that he and Kentucky are all that is wrong with college basketball. He didn't make the rules, he's just better at playing by them than other people are.
