Bummed KB didn’t win but like all the Toyota’s so oh well lol. Erik Jones won ROY as well, huge day for Furniture Row. EJ is the first driver to win ROY in all 3 major series, and has done it in 3 years. Also, time for certain blowhards on here to eat crow regarding the 78 driver..

They got it done with raw speed and excellent work on pit road. MTJ stepped up when needed and brought it home. To not win the Cup with a team and car like that would have been a shame.

Huge congratulations to Martin Truex, Jr. I am glad that I got to watch that race from the drop of the green flag to the award ceremony.

The defining moments of MTJ's race for me had to be when he threw that huge block on Harvick in Turns 1&2 when Harv was running the middle line, and when he held off the ever-persistent KDB for the win.

It was a stressful last 20 laps watching Truex hold off the 18. Logano did a good job of holding him up for several laps, and then Larson made the best move of the race by getting the 18 loose with 6 laps to go. I was really hoping that Larson would try to pass the 18, but he seemed to be hesitant. At least he got the 18 loose enough to come in 2nd. That sealed Truex's win. Today, the best driver over the course of the season actually became the champion.

If you ever saw a driver "drive" his ass off ,you saw it tonight. That was an incredible performance by MTJ and his crew, but mostly it was Martin. Stellar, exceptionable, fantastic! Well done!
