We'll take 2nd all season long though. Just hope he does that good at Texas in 2 weeks. That has sortof been his nemesis

It is called being a TEAMMATE by sharing setup information! During the practices and qualifying, Jimmie's car was total crap. I guess in your opinion if this was reversed Chad and Jimmie shouldn't share with Steve and Jeff, and had Jeff won you wouldn't be saying a work. And just what should be done to Jimmie???? It is called RACING. NOT move over and let the car behind me pass for the win. It was good clean racing and Jimmie crossed the finish line first. Jimmie is slowing becoming my #1 over Jeff.
 
First of all. Congrats on Jimmie becoming your first fave..remember who put him there. He gets to win with Jeff's old equipment..champ equipment.

Anyhow.. i loved the racing and i dont think a driver should move over to let your teammate win..but lets face it Jimmie played dirty..to his own teammate.

But i'm happy with the result..that just adds to more wins for the Hendrick Organization.
 
Old equipment? Looks like both were driving COT's and from what I understand, this is the first year they have been driven....

The race may have started on a Jeff setup, but I highly doubt that it ended that way. Jeff has every right to be upset that he didn't win. He did everything he could except wreck Jimmie and possibly himself to win. There wasn't any dirty driving on ANYONE's part. AND, who do you think that Jimmie learned alot of his driving skills from???? Veteran drivers, including Jeff. Like I said before, if it was reversed, you would NOT have a problem with the win.

Though i will be honest with you. I was pissed when he got interview and then said..oh he had the whole outside lane..then laugh. That wasn't cool.

All I'm going to say is this Car of Tomorrow thing seems to be a huge benefit for Hendrick and a huge setback for the two and three car teams. NASCAR needs to make some changes to level out the competiton or they're going to see a lot of fans go to IRL. It's absolutely ridiculous, here we are six races in, that one car has one half of them, and one team has won all but two races. I'm going to be watching a lot less Nextel Cup if this keeps up. Nobody wants to see the same guy win every week. I was pulling for Junior but it seems somehow a Hendrick car got lucky, again.

And what's the deal with these gas cables. This is something that seems to be a problem only in this COT.

You treat you team mates differently. You treat your friends and relatives differently. The others are competitors and they are treated as such.

I saw the Montoya dump up close and it was just that a dump on Raines. Rubbin is racin but that was a bit more. I happened to be on Raines' scanner channel when that happened and let's just say it was a good thing he never caught back up to Montoya bacuse he had some choice words for him in the radio.
 
From what I seen I kinda thought that, but hey..I aint no expert :D
