Putting a lot of hope into this one to get the ship righted. After watching my alma mater choke away a national championship last night, I don't know if I can take another 20+ weeks of Alan and Chase choking too.

This is what I'm expecting. Much like the road courses, the gap between the average driver and the exceptional ones will be smaller due to increased braking performance. (I hold the opinion that braking is what separates the haves from the have nots at roadies and Martinsville)
 
Hate to see a loose wheel here, too.

The punishment will be costly and hard to gain back.
 
I think he's got a real strong chance of winning this weekend. Car looks great too.

I don't buy that idea any more. In the 80s and 90s, sure. But today, the cars are so damned durable you can pretty much run Q laps all race if not for tire wear.
