Martinsville RACE thread

Gordon did what he had to. If he did not pit, chances are he would've finished worse.

Y'all remember what happened when Jeff stayed out two years ago?
Yep...there are definitely a few on here that make better fans then they would crew chiefs.:)

Wouldn't be surprised to see a Race Back Into the Chase clause next year where if any of the 16 chasers wins 1 of the first 9 chase races they clinch a spot at Homestead.

They should put that clock in a closet and lock the door...Junior and his buddies get to drinking and lord knows if even the "American Restoration" guys will be able to fix it ;)

Congrats Dale Jr.! Winner !!:partytime

They have four drivers in the finale, so they may as well have whoever wins, and among those who have won, perhaps the final four decided by points.

great race !

final 4 ? guess we'll have ta watch texas / phoenix races !

What was lame? He said he was wondering if maybe Junebug didn't let him in because he didn't let junebug in the restart prior and then kinda shrugged it off.

The lame excuse crack made me laugh considering his driver wrote the book on lame excuses. lol

Congrats to Jr. Gordon may have had the best car, but Jr. drove the wheels off and got a deserved win.

I'll take 2nd and move onto Texas. A non-chase driver winning makes 2nd a great finish. Especially with all the trouble the 2 and 4 had.

Hard to say who had the best car; Dale Jr. was beating Jeff on lap times, for a while at least, before the last caution. I guess maybe Jr was faster on the short run.
