Members and Lurkers

hey everyone,

I am misfit aka Tina. I live in one of the most boring states ever. I have actually sat on my porch and watched tumbleweeds go by. And they say there is nothing to do in KS. I am a eccentric person which really means I am a freak who runs with scissors and scares other people. But I am happy so who cares. My handle is pretty easy to explain, I don't really fit in anywhere because of my uniqueness. I try to post, but am here mostly at night so I don't get to talk to a lot of people. I am a night owl and would ban mornings if possible.

I like a variety of drivers and hate a variety of drivers too. However, if someone I hate makes a good move or does something good I can appreciate it if I am in a good mood. :lol2: And if a guy I like does something idiotic I can call them on it. Which really doesn't do much for people watching around me. I started watching because of Gordon and the way he drove and looked, hey everyone makes mistakes...kidding.

I am going to school to get some kind of degree to do something with my life. Really if I had a choice and lots of money, I would just follow Nascar circuit around. But alas I am poor so I must go to school so I can owe money to the govt and be poor with a degree.

In regards to my above post, I really should have said I dislike a few drivers instead of hate. I don't really hate anyone or wish them harm. I just don't like them as much as others. I don't want to come off mean, only psycho. :FIREdevil

Don't try to understand me, everyone I know has given up. I just wanted to state my opinion a little more clearer so people don't run away trying to avoid me. I want to be here for a long time.

well i can count the fishing trips on one hand this year. my friend is about to shoot me as i was too into car audio. one of them was out to devils lake, nd. had to buy a non res license and well that is the only time we used it. we bought season as we thought we would be out there more than one time.
kinda wierd how the ND non res cost the same as MN res license.

i am sure life will still be plenty busy during the winter. but yes i will try to get here more.

Time for some more n00bs and lurkers to tell about themselves! :D

I'll get this going again, for all of you folks. I'm stridsberry, because my last name is Stridsberg (Swedish), and my 9th grade math teacher had a little bit of trouble getting the name right. I live in the 2nd-most sparsely populated state in the union, Vermont. There's nothing much to do here, which gives me more time to fuel my thirst for racing. I'm a junior in high school, play trumpet and guitar, and get good grades. My favorite drivers are Ricky Craven and Kevin Lepage, with a distant third being my original favorite...Rusty Wallace.

Hello all, I'm nascarwoman. I've been out of high school longer than Stridsberry's been alive. :( The land of cheese is my home.

Yeah!Time to flush out some lurkers! :) I missed this back in october so here goes:My name is really Clark----not 97,as I implied earlier--I live in Alabama and grew up hanging around Hueytown and Bessemer cafe's frequented by the old Royalty of the Alabama Gang.A big fan of BIR where a lot of good racers have started or at least raced. :) Contrary to my fondness for Kurt and the Ford guys,my '97' handle actually was a tribute to the ageless Red Farmer---guess Busch is a good one to restore glory to the number though!

Just a workin' guy with an appreciation of the guys that risk their lives whirling these cars around in circles for our entertainment!

Now lets here from some of you hiding out there reading this! :)

Hi, I'm Tracey from further down south of Louisiana than Tab.I'm about 10 minutes away from New Orleans.I'm a writer/published poet.I have a natural talent for doing embarrassing things. If trouble is around,I either caused it or it's chasing me.My favorite drivers are:Tony Stewart,Bobby Labonte,#3,#8.#1.On Bobby's board I am known as Labonteiac.

Hi all! I answer to a lot of names but mainly DeeDee or Dee. I live in Ohio. I am a recovering lurker...I lurked for long time before I posted for the first time. Now I post a couple times a day all though my post really aren't anything more than chit chat. I have to admit I am addicted to this place. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to pee and I have to check and see if there are any new posts from when I went to bed. I swear I really do have a life! I have a wonderful, smart, beautiful daughter. She is everything in my life that is important.
I own my own business, which enables me lots of free time on the computer throughout the day.
My favorite drivers are, first and foremost Tony Stewart, the first time I saw him race, I decided he was going to be the driver to watch. I also like Marlin, Rudd, and Bobby.
I mentioned my daughter above, well I have to tell you all, I am still trying to figure out where I failed with her...She likes Jeffy. I think any more she just says it to get a rise out of me.
I make her say Tony is the Man when she wants soemthing! I know that's terrible. :D

Well as you can tell i love Bill Elliot, been a fan since 1983, and will continue to be a fan forever. My real name is Rufus James Flynt, i grew up in Palmer , Mass., just a few towns over from Paul. I started hanging around garages with my dad at the age of 4, which was almost 38 years ago. I grew up watching the old modified coupes at Stafford, Thompson, and Riverside speedways back in Ma. and Conn. I remember attending a race at Stafford when it was dirt back in 1965, i fell asleep after the first heat, but i have been hooked since! For those of you back in Mass. area my dad was a good friend of Bebe Zalinski, who owned the M-6 modified back in the mid to late 60s they went to technical school together in the late 30s, thus the connection. I am currently living in CO.Springs in Colorado, been here for almost 5 years, love it , but i'm moving home to pursue a career as a personal trainer. I currently work for World Gym out here as a night mananger, i love sports of all kinds, baseball probably being my favorite, and Nascar a close second. Oh yeh they call me DH,i'll let you guys use your imaginantion on that one, i explained it once here a while back. As usual i am long winded, so thanks to all who make this a great forum! :D

I guess I missed this in Oct.
My name is Rana- pronounced Renee.
I live in KS graduated from Kansas State Univ. 10 years ago(animal science), but now I am a Stay at home Mom to my 2 year old son.
I lurk, but I do post in Chit chat or the Bar area. I love to come and find out behind the scene stuff about the NASCAR world.
I am a fan of Most drivers, but can respect all drivers. ;)

Zekk, my favorite driver is Scott Wimmer.. i can't wait until he moves to Winston(if he does)..
i have a question.. no one has to answer but.. what happened to Cutiepie and DE_Wrangler? i just notcied they seemed to disapear and now it says they ain't even registered?

Hi Gollum here. I go by that because I am a Lord of the Rings fan. I am a Kevin Harvick fan 50 years old and over weight. What could be better. :D

Hey people, I am mis-fit. I hate my real name so nobody is allowed to call me that. I lurk a lot only because I feel by the time I get around to thinking of something real smart to say, it has already been said. I mostly stick around to talk in the chit-chat or jokes because I am a smart***. I enjoy this place because of the great Nasacar forum and the diversity of the posters. I really enjoying coming here to read the latest news and opinions concerning Nascar.

I also seem to have this habit of mentioning every five seconds I am a former military brat and know a decent amount about the military and stuff. I am annoying in that sense. I am a gemini so I tend to have two sides, one that is quite nice and the other you don't want to meet. I blame my evil side for making people mad and my ramblings about taking over the world.

I like a lot of different drivers for various reasons and while I can admit when a driver I don't like so much is a good driver and is doing good, it still stings.

See there a brief weird intro which proves why I should stay in the shadows.
mis-fit (back to lurking)

Hi! My name is Ally, technically it's Alyson, but everyone calls me Ally or Allybear. I'm from Long Island, New York and still live there, in Bellerose Terrace (not that I see anyone else from the area here, so I'm sure no one knows where that is, LOL). My hubby started me watching NASCAR in 1997 when we were engaged, I thought the "car that looks like a big box of cornflakes" was cute, so after a few weeks, I asked JP (that's the hubby) if it was OK if I liked a different driver than him (he was a diehard Earnhardt fan, he hasn't even picked a new favorite and said he may never). So he said it was OK as long as it wasn't Gordon (sorry Gordon fans, but it was kind of funny, especially if you could have heard him say it). So that's how I got to be a racing fan, a Terry Labonte fan, and how I got here I'm not sure, but I was doing something online and found the place. I'm usually too busy to post much, but I felt like it today and I will try to stop by more!

Keep smiling...:)

I like racing....lol...yeh refresh it and get aquainted more often!

I would have never guessed you were a race fan. ^_^

My fav. driver is Tony "Smoke" Stewart, if you haven't figured that one out yet.

:salute:

You know me as racerx, my mom calls me Rich and my friends do not seem to call at all. None of them are racefans though so I really do not care. I can get excited about a street stock race as i can about a cup race. I think everything is better when the sun goes doen.

My name is Rich, and I'm a 20-year old college student. I hope to be a high school history or English teacher when I graduate. I rarely post because I work and go to school full-time, but I read the board whenever I get a chance. My hobbies are playing drums in a rock band (flojo...hence the name), reading and writing, working out, and riding my motorcycle. Favorite drivers are Dale, Jr., Matt Kenseth, DJ, and I'm slowly working my way over to the Kurt Busch side. Adios.

Thought I would bump this up since I have seen some new names on here the last few days. :salute:

The name is Nick, 18 years of age, and a current college student at MECC. My favorite driver is Dale Jr (as if you couldn't already tell), and also known to root for a few others (Harvick, Sadler, Stewart, Newman). I hope to get out of college soon, get my degree, and then head off to NTI. I can only hope that I can make it in NASCAR someday.. its my life.

Thats my 2 cents..

Good luck Bud stud...if i were 20 years younger i'd be doing the same thing! :D

My name is Christopher. I am from Ohio and work for Goodyear. I have a wife of 12 years (almost) and three great kids. I have been playing guitar for a little over 19 years and have been teaching it for several years. My favorite driver is Jeff Gordon (hence the screen name). But, I like several drivers including Matt Kenseth and most of the older drivers...Kyle Petty, Mark Martin, and a few others. I grew up a huge Richard Petty fan and bristle a little at the notion that Dale Sr was a better driver (not to start an arguement, but there is only one King Richard and he will never be replaced in my mind). That's about it.

Thank ya, Thank ya... if I make it, i'll bring ya to a race...lol!

Awright, you got me, too.

I'm Mobara, Lola in real life, I live in Maryland. Have been lurking around and reading the boards for a couple of years, but never posted until recently. I'm a reporter and I write all day, so generally, I just enjoy reading the posts.

I follow several drivers on a regular basis, Newman, Tony Stewart, and a few others. Got into racing less than five years ago, after I found a homemade (shop-class!) #3, Dale Earnhardt napkin holder at a thrift shop for 50-cents and gave it to my boss (complete Earnhardt fanatic) as a gift. He got me to watch a few races and pretty soon I was hooked. I also watch other racing series on occasion and PBR when it's on...my friends totally don't get it.

I usually go to Dover, Richmond and Charlotte. Might try Pocono some day...

O.K. I guess it's my turn. My name is Jean, I'm 44 and I work at Tyson. I have one son who's 19. My brother Gollum posts quite a bit. I post and I lurk.

My fav driver is WARD BURTON, my other favs is Jeff Burton, Sterling Marlin and Bobby Labonte.

That's about it.. :p Oh yeah, I'm from the great state of TENNESSEE!!!!
