Michigan Bonehead of the Race Award

As for Kasey Kahne and bad luck - when one driver blows tires and crashes so much more than other drivers, you have to, I don't know, look at the driver.

I say the same thing about Kyle Busch and his engines. Yes, all the Toyota engines suck - but when one driver blows engines so much more frequently, you have to wonder what he's doing different. Yeah, it's the team's job to give the driver a car he can drive and drive wide open - but when some drivers (Kahne, Kyle Busch, Montoya and, to a lesser degree, Kurt Busch - among others) seem to drive the car beyond all possible limits, might be time to look at the driver.

Of course, for Kurt Busch, he's really got nothing to lose from driving beyond his car's limits. If he picks up a few wins, it'll be a remarkable feat (and he will). Kyle Busch and Kasey Kahne on the other hand - they could win championships if they knew when to slow it down.

I think Kurt Bush deserves at least a partial bonehead award, he went from hero to zero at Michigan. I think he took a gamble with the way he set his car set up, way down in the back, sacrificing rear downforce for speed. He was faast alright...but he made a driving mistake and it cost him a win IMO. Yeah we love him, but I think his EGO instead of good judgement got the best of him at Michigan.

Carl Edwards, for his self-centered rant against his teammate after the race.

Missed this post-race interview...a cliff's notes version available?
Bone head move of the day belongs to the 24 car. Missed it by ----->this<----- much. :dunce:

My $.02 worth.

I was going to go with Alex Bowman in the NNS race for taking out the same two cars two weeks in a row. But I may have to rethink that and go with Knaus.

Clutch,

So the Cliff's Notes version of Flipper's post-race intwerview would be sour grapes, or just butt-hurt?
