If not for the cautions - he would have lapped the field.

This is why I'm sick of hearing how bad Joe Gibbs Racing is -- Kyle's leading the points, 4 wins, when he wins races he dominates them. I know a lot of people disagree with me, but that's not "all driver".

Yep. Hamlin sure shot himself. JGR engines are different that TRD engines in how they are mounted. It must have something to do with balance, but Hamlin was way off and over driving today.

Well, as much as I dislike Kyle he's a better driver than Denny is and MUCH better than Logano.

Wow, Denny is just 15 points in front of Menard.
Brad didn't pick up much on the top 10, but he's now 12th in points. That makes his wild card spot legitimate to people like Denny who were complaining about it.

I think Tony needs to look at himself and his pit crew. That's where the problem is.

I think he needs a new CC. They just aren't clicking. Harvick too. What's with that crew?
Then there's Denny and Carl.
Next year, we may see a bunch of new faces in the chase. This may be a changing of the guard.

I'm not sure Zippy misses Tony. When Tony left, Zippy said he want's to stay at JGR. He may have changed his mind since he doesn't see victory much anymore.

He's a talented driver for sure. I think he is distracted by all the freedom he has after moving out of his parents home. It sure looked like those 2 smothered him, and probably want him to call them before he does anything on his own. Now he's tweeting about going testing, something I don't recall him doing much of in the past.

He still had quite a bit of time on his contract when Tony left and he said what was best for his team and his job.....he'd rather be working for Tony if the money was there.
