Michigan NWS Thread

yeah no kidding, best televised race this season IMO. Great race, they put on a driving show today.
 
Not much of a smith fan, but as long as Busch didn't win I'm happy. I was pullin for Larson, good day him!
 
Smith and Sweet 6th place for Jr motorsports. Sweet's best N'wide finish ever, maybe he is getting a handle on the car.
 
That was some awesome racing, especially on the last run. Maybe NASCAR took some notes and slows down the Cup cars.

If they had races like that, I don't think there would be too many complaints about the less speed. That is the second race this year that the N'wide is much better then the cup.
 
Yay for Smith! I would have loved to see Larson win but Smith is still a great kid!
And man, that Vickers cannot catch a break.

slower speeds with a great handling car makes it a free for all. Lots of lead changes and passing, I didn't notice that they were slower, too busy watching the racing. Less laps make them race harder, but that will never happen, they have to try to cram as many commercials down our throats as possible

He's had a flawless season so far. As the season goes on things will regress to normal and he'll get a DNF or two from an engine failure or getting caught up in someone else's wreck and cut his lead at least a little bit. It happens to everyone eventually. I still think he wins the Championship though.

Hope not, In My Opinion he should stay in NNS in a top ride for at least another year, hate to see him go back too early and fail in cup again, he's a good driver if he's in good equipment.
 
Life has to be pretty flat if all you want to do is win. Kyle was his usual self, when he figured out that his car was setup wrong, they couldn't tune into his in car radio, because he was spewing forth obscenities at all who were involved, and of course he couldn't speak to reporters because he was so upset. He drove a heck of a race and battled Sweet and Baine neck and neck, and he ended up beating both of them for fourth place. But instead of being satisfied with getting all he could out of his car, he pisses everybody off within earshot. Amazing.
