Is anyone a regular fan at any of your local minor league events?
I've never lived in a city with a professional team and I'm not much of a college sports fan, so I've always been a fan of minor league sports. Not to mention, they are much cheaper than professional games while still providing the same entertainment. For as long ad I can remember, my family and myself have always been a fan of the Wichita Thunder ECHL hockey team in Wichita, KS. They haven't been doing great the past few years but it's still a great way to spend a few hours. Ufortunately they moved into the new arena downtown which raised the prices enough to where I dont attend the games nearly as much as I'd like.
While living in Northwest Arkansas, I enjoyed attending the NWA Naturals baseball games. Those games are very affordable and a great time. I'm moving back later this year and if I didnt work in retail and had a consistent schedule, I would strongly considet season tickets.
