Some very surprising numbers.

Have they changed the points system or something? Because the standings don't seem to reflect those numbers.

I did average so if someone raced say 29 races and got say 2854 points then I divided it that way... points per race and total points standings are different.

I'm gonna guess here that the average PPR for 2002 is for the entire season, while obviously those for 2003 can only be for 10 races.

And last year Tony's average PPR was the lowest in history for the WC champion under the current points system so the 2003 may be subject to a much different look by season's end.

Try to see if ya can get average PPR in 2002 for only the first 10 races and then do a comparison to where that average put them in the points race for the respective years at this point.

That might prove very interesting indeed>

Nice work! That for 2002 and 2003 combined?

Two observations:
1. Penske is showing Everham how the Dodge should be run.
2. Skinner is even worse than Bodine

Interesting numbers robby.31.Sometimes I notice reality and perception are at odds with one another.I would have sworn Jeff Burton was running better this season....but you are right, sadly he's not.

Also,a good job by the Gibbs team---that was another mild surprise.

J.Gordon and Busch are both improved....But look at poor old Ryan!30 point drop!Amazing.
