People are actually complaining about The Monster Energy Drink girls? Why?

I'm not sure who this video is aimed at. I don't see it changing any minds. In fact, I can see skeptical viewers being discouraged Stenberg's language early in the video.

Also from Stenberg, "Without chicks you ain't bringing young people here."? Gosh, if true, that's just sad.

What was up with that stupid question about cliques and 'girl fights'? What kind of answer did she expect? "Hell yeah, we hold MMA matches behind the haulers every night! Topless!"

Another wasted opportunity to demonstrate these girls know even the least amount about this sport besides Kurt Busch's name and car number.

Man, I've got to admit..... One of the last things that concerns me about these girls is their working knowledge of the sport of NASCAR. Heck, even their intelligence for that matter. They're nothing more than eye candy. That's okay with me.

I'm not opposed to them. They're harmless. I doubt I'll ever see any of them.

But skip my last sentence if that's a point of contention. If the video is aimed at those already 'living the Monster lifestyle', no problem. Even the choir needs preached to occasionally. I just don't see this video changing the minds of anyone opposed to their presence, or who may be skeptical of the sport because of their introduction. How many more people could be attracted if the video showed them as more than just eye candy?

Probably none have you seen modern society?

That's not the girls' fault. I think their involvement is limited to marketing; they're not in on production or product development. :D

I started to watch the video but when I saw it would take 7 minutes of my life I would never get back I passed. IDK who Stenberg is but I will go one further and say it goes beyond sadness and lands squarely in the land of pathetic. What an unfair and scathing indictment of young people to say they won't show up to an event unless plastic women whose cups runneth over are present.

For the record It makes no difference to me if Monster Girls are present at Nascar races or not as they are just another Nascar gimmick trying to baffle people with bull****.

I agree that the video is not likely to change the opinion of any of the folks complaining.

I ran into a group of the girls in the pits at Fontana. No complaints from me. Easy on the eyes.

As a race fan over a certain age, I well remember the trophy girls of the past. And I understand that Monster Girls are a marketing
tool. I know "sex sells".
However, I am somewhat saddened to see the comments of some posters about the girls that, to me, objectify and degrade the women
simply doing a job. Honestly, those snide, slightly off-color comments make me feel dirty.

The outfits the monster girls wear are supposed to be enticing. Im sure the girls who volunteer to wear it know exactly that they will be attracting eyes. If they dont have a problem with it then neither do I.

Besides, these women have been models forever. Showing skin is what they enjoy doing, so be it.

Being offended for someone else, who isnt offended, is incredible.

Very good post...... these girls weren't kidnapped by Monster and forced into slavery.... they applied for the job knowing full and well what it entailed.... same as the girls who apply for job's at Hooters ....... I think it is great that after all these years of being so politically correct as to not offend anyone by showing skin above the wrist that Monster gets to turn the whole thing on it's ear for a measly 20 million dollars for a whole year of sponsorship....

Oh, I understand their position completely. And if that's what they want to do, so be it. Everyone has a choice. I'm not offended by their choice.

It's 2017, the child's mind has been sexualized for quite a while..these girls are not a big deal.

I just don't understand the attempt to advertise them.

Look at Linda Vaughn........ Miss Hurst..... she.... singlehandedly was the best marketing tool Hurst had.... she was at every event for decades.... anyone who just had a passing relationship to Drag racing knew her name and recognized her immediately.
