Monster Energy Girls address 'disheartening' NASCAR fan controversy in video

I wish you'd have quit after the first two sentences. You had to trot out that 'sour grapes' cliche guys tell each other when they know they have no chance at even making a pitch to a woman.

I can see how one would think that if one had not been with someone they view as being someone they had no chance with, but I'm currently married to someone I thought I had no chance with and while I love and appreciate her with all my being and she is my best friend there is SO MUCH **** to put up with I can't begin to tell you. Every woman I've ever been with has the same issues but marry them and they are X10.

Could you explain what's controversial about the way they're dressed? As others have pointed out, young women wear much skimpier clothing in the 'real world'. As mentioned in the video, cheerleaders for other sports wear clothing with less fabric. Certainly more skin is shown at beaches and pools.
Just a very drastic difference from miss sprint cup who was in a firesuit from neck to ankle. However im not really complaining just calling NASCAR on its BS.

If there's nothing controversial about their clothing, then what BS are you calling them on? What isn't 'family friendly' about them?

Not sure you're understanding the point. To claim something is family oriented or has family values, USUALLY means that people are generally covered by areas a t shirt and shorts would cover. The outfits differ just a little from week to week, but do show a decent amount of cleavage some times. Again USUALLY MOST "family friendly" places this is not the case or attire. And the BS is the fact that NASCAR cant claim what they are, struggling so hard to survive they cant see they are going against what they claim to be. I personally have nothing against these girls being at the track, MOST of the people I know who have small kids do have a problem with it however.

I guess grocery stores are not family friendly either then, because I have seen just as much cleavage at Ralphs, Vons, and Stater Bros...and that's not just when the Bud, Miller, Rockstar,or the Monster girls are there.

I saw these girls close up at Martinsville and there was nothing sexy or appealing about them. The only thing they had over the other females was the access to restricted areas. Actually I was very disappointed especially since I am a Hooters charter member.

Really? I mean REALLY? Martinsville must have some hot ass attendees. Wasn't any more than any other race I had attended when me and my wife went 4 years ago.

I've never seen a grocery store advertised as family friendly entertainment either. Its Monster's right to dress the Girls however they want within local legal statues, and its the rest of the fan's right to agree or disagree with it. Really the whole thing is stupid. Modern America will always have someone disagreeing with something. I'm only offering a suggestion that IMO is why some may have issues with them being at the track. Honestly I could care less if they are there or not, dressed or not. Its amazing the debate this has started.

Perhaps I should have stated that "I" didn't see them as sexy or appealing. What I saw in general was a group of young girls with a lot of makeup and perfect hair and they did not appear to be happy or enjoying themselves. But once they were in the spotlight, their action and mannerism changed and they put on these big smiles that looked fake to me. They did not attempt to interact with any of the fans in anyway and only seemed to be concerned with chatting among themselves. Honestly it was kind of a turn off. I found the three girls in the jeep that pulled in the parking lot ahead of me a lot more appealing. Just my opinion.

Ah. I wasn't aware this was the working definition of 'family friendly'.

Fair enough. I can see where their attitude or aire about them would turn you off. I can totally see that. I thought you meant ALL the chicks at M-Ville were nice to look at and I was going to be making plans for the Chase or playoffs or whatever.

For any of the fans on here that is offended by really sexy girls at a race track, don't go to the Long Beach Grand Prix... because most of the female fans there dress very, very sexy. But, it is right next to the beach after all.:)
