Looks good except for the part where they're trying to incorporate all 23 tracks on the side of the thing.

I'm apparently in the minority with my opinion of the Sprint Cup trophy (I really liked it), but this Monster Cup trophy is pretty cool.

Too bad the trophy is meaningless because of our luck-based playoff format.

This got me to thinking. How much would it weigh if it was any other metal but made exactly the same? So I got the abacus out and ciphered it for all to see.

Aluminum= 68 lbs
Stainless Steel= 201 lbs
Brass= 216 lbs
Silver= 265 lbs
Gold= 488 lbs. That's $547,242 for 10K in today's prices

Try hoisting that in victory lane.

I made a miscalculation. I figured the gold at 68 lbs not 488 lbs. The actual total total cost is $3,949,453. Holy smokes.
