More to the Biffle to RCR rumor than first thought

And absolutely RCR has done well this year. But history isn't going to record him as the 2004 WC champion.Roush---and not RCR---is going to hold that distinction in all probability.

And Jr.? Just to early to tell, so far he looks good for a second place guy though.
You mean 2003, Nextel comes in 2004.

I dont mean to escalate the argument, but RCR has improved from last year and this year, they're contenders for the top 10 and championship, IN 2002 Kevin Harvick and Robby Gordon finished lower than 20th in points? Now this year, Harvick sits 3rd in points and Gordon near the top 10, they've made great improvements and it shows where they are in points. With all their great performances lately, they're damn near their goals towards a championship and a lot of young drivers are willing to drive for RCR. No, I dont think the RCR era is over, matter a fact, it's just begun and hell, it's a pretty good beginning, either next year or the within the years to come, RCR will have another NASCAR Cup Championship. As for Dale Jr, he has the consistency, he can rack up wins, top 5s and top 10s, and someday his and his team's efforts will be rewarded with a Championship, there is absolutely no denying it.

I hope Biffle finds a ride and he will sure be welcome in RCR or any other team. I dont think he will be back with Roush in 2004 because of disagreements with the Ford camp, but it would be nice to see him in RCR.

This is a followup from Jayski:
Greg Biffle may be considering a $3 million deal to drive for Richard Childress, according to sources. But Geoff Smith, head of Roush Racing, says he expects the Winston Cup rookie to be back with Jack Roush next season

Just to add some more spice to this conversation.I think that Dale Jr was trying to recruit Tony Stewart to DEI before he re-upped with The Coach.I mean these two do hangout quite a bit.

If I was Biffle, I'd go to RCR.
check this out, if I was roush and biffle was actually stirring the pot again, I would let him go to RCR and bring back johnny benson, I think johnny would be a better fit , he does'nt rock the boat and he consistent.

Johnny was very consistant with Roach Racing.....he finished in the "30th on back crew" every week. ;)

Roach's problem is that he has too many teams. Only one or two cars run in top form all year. Knock off at least one of the teams and start putting all your resources toward the other one.

I almost wish RCR would drop the 30 car and get the 29 and 31 honed and polished. Then maybe bring back the 30.

With Biffle..... ;) :D

Is that your opinion or was a rumor? Their just friends it was never a rumor cause they had tony going to ganassi.

that was back in the day, today is different, 16 car is a car capable of winning, just needs the right driver, along with the 30 and the 1.

I kinda think Greg would end up with the 29 ride eventually if he went to RCR. He just seems like a better driver than Kevin, imo. Bet Kevin hadn't thought of that!! :D :D He would be cool in that car though!

Oh! I didn't mean to sound mean or anything, I like Kevin too but evryone says Greg just won on fuel milage this year. But didnt Kevin win the same way this year? I am just asking. I just think Greg seems to be a lot better than Kevin. Hope that doesn't hurt his fans feelings, thats just my opinion!! :)

QUOTE: Happy29 [ "Ya know the 1 of DEI and the 30 of RCR dont get as much attention from their team owners as compared to Kevin Harvick, Robby Gordon or Dale Earnhardt Jr. I think that's why Steve Park hasnt been up to speed, he's stuck in crap rides that and the cars qualify him so deep into the pack to the point where he either gets wrecked or blocked in traffic"....................] End QUOTE

Now why would any driver want to go with a multi-team organization and owner that fails to give equal attention to each team ?????

If this ride was crap for Steve Park, it will not be any better for Greg Biffle.

But then again, it might not be the car.

I thought that because Jr had Stewart drive his Busch car at Michigan, where he lead the most laps. So I was thinking that maybe he was also letting Stewart see what kind of cars that DEI is capable of providing.
