Due to weather related difficulties the first scheduled appearance of the O'Reilly MLRA at Adrian Speedway since 2004 has been postponed until Saturday, May 13.
"The amount of rain taken on this week at the track this week were substantial," said Harriett Chancellor, O'Reilly MLRA promoter. "Then to top it off there was a lightning strike that did some damage to some of the lighting and PA system that is in use. We talked to Glenn on Friday evening and he was working late into the night to try and get everything fixed, but there just wasn't enough time to get it all done. This is unfortunate for both the O'Reilly MLRA and Adrian Speedway, but we had worked out May 13 as a rain date and we're looking forward to an exciting night of racing then," continued Chancellor.
All times, ticket prices, and support classes will remain the same for the May 13 rain date. Pit gates open at 4:00 pm with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 pm. Hot laps are set to take to the track at 7:00 pm with racing action getting underway at 7:30 pm. General admission tickets are only $15.00 for adults, with kids 6-12 only $5.00 while 5 & under are Free. Pit passes for the night are $25.00.
