Jorge Martin wins the Indonesian GP to extend his lead to 21 points at the top of the riders' championship.
 
Congratulations to Jorge Martin for winning his first World Championship. He had a very consistent season and deserved to be the Champion.

MotoGP has officially dumped their most popular track and will replace it with a street course next year.
Forgetting tradition is one thing, but they're unnecessarily risking serious injuries to their riders. The Liberty takeover hasn't been received well by fans at all.

I am very unhappy about Phillip Island leaving the schedule, although racing there has always presented substantial problems. As for what's on offer from Adelaide, I don't know enough about the plans to have a clear opinion... but safety concerns certainly spring to mind. MotoGP certainly needs and deserves better promotion, but it's crucial that it remains foremost a sport, not an entertainment property. I hope Liberty can figure that out.
