To compliment our weekly "Bonehead" thread... I wish I would have thought of this sooner.

Have to go with a 3 way tie between both Joey and Denny having the comebacks they did, and Newman's move to advance on the final lap.
 
I have to go with Newman's move, my jaw dropped when he did that, a really clean dirty move IMO. Dale Jarrett was just saying he needed to pass somebody and that Gordon would be out of it if he did, and bamm there he went, just like it was on cue.
 
Newman making the pass on Larson, advancing him into the finale of the chase by one point.
 
For just a single move it has to be Newman imo.
Yeah the guy has no wins, and I understand the frustration folks feel.

But based on the equipment he maybe the most valuable driver for any team this year at least the argument can be made.
He has taken a car that is definitely a tier below HMS, Penske, SHR, and JGR and hustled it into the finale against all odds.
The last lap was emblematic of what he has accomplished this year, a lot of gritty determination.

At least I think so, I should probably look up emblematic to be 100 % sure of my claims.

that's they way they did for years at RCR, he invented point racing.
