I just got an LG Rumor Touch. It seems like a great phone, but I am having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to use it. I despise reading the directions to anything, I know it's probably just a guy thing, but whatever. It seems like the only way I will get much of this thing's potential is by reading them. In addition, I've never had a touch screen anything and just about every time I try to get the screen to scroll up or down I end up selecting something without trying to. Many people have said this is a great phone, and as I said, it seems like it is. But it just kinda pisses me off that it is so much smarter than I am. <_<

Anybody else have this phone?

I've got this one.:D

Theres the iPhone then there's all the iPhone wannabe imitators. I have an iPhone.

Actually, I didn't want anything to do with an iPhone. I mostly just use my phone to make and receive calls and I've heard the iPhone doesn't do either of those things very well. Also, they said I needed to get into a much more expensive plan to use an Android or iPhone type of phone. I had no use for that.

My plan actually went down $15 a month because they gave me a discount because my wife works for Summa, indirectly. They also gave me a $250 credit ($50 per line x 5 lines) and a bunch of free, or almost free, phones for renewing my contract with them for another 2 years. All in all, I couldn't have asked for much more.

"Make and receive calls" -- what's this function? What app do I use for that?

The iPhone works very well for calls.

I have the rumor touch on Sprint. Have not had any problems with scrolling on the touch screen or anything else. Its my first touch screen phone and i think its great.

I have Sprint also. I figured out the key to the touch screen. It took me a few tries, but I figured out that if press the screen firmly and then move it up or down it works great. I was trying to barely touch it. You learn something new everyday. Unless you are still young enough to think you already know everything, that is.

I have an iphone. Actually it's my second one. Gave the old one to hubby and upgraded mine to the iphone 4. Makes and receives calls just fine, and does lots more just fine for me. If you're not gadget friendly, then the iphone isn't the phone for you. Good luck on the new phone. :)

Thats I went the android direction. I call it a cross between iphone and blackberry. Blackberries are boring, and iphone's organization just confuses me.
