Right? This one just seems a bit low-brow; I get that Chastain is aggressive, but good grief. On the other hand, the Reddick bit is cartoonishly funny - especially since he is not a driver that moves the needle either way for me. Makes it funnier. It’s about like if I were to go on some tangent about poor Paul Menard and how his love of saké relegated him to a good Menards truck driver at best… but Menard is safe, I wouldn’t do that to him. Nor am I a copycat.
The other one, I know I've said this, but reminds me of this world class troll on the superherohype forums 10 years ago. The troll style was uncanny.
Story time. There was a poster on that forum called Braincrusher. He made a post on the gener board, telling us a coworker of his invited him on this big trip to hike K2. He had minimal hiking experience, and was planning on going with a PB and J sandwich, Ipod and hiking boots. He asked the board for any tips and pointers. Naturally, posters were concerned for his well being, given the nature of that hike.
A month later, he made another thread about how he wants to go swimming at the beach, but he is afraid he will get eaten by a shark. Then another thread about his neighbor getting pissed at him for mowing his lawn bright and early at 6am..then another about his girlfriend breaking up with him for having a high pitched voice.
People took him seriously after the first two,but then it became a running forum gag. Cartoonishly trolling.
WhiningSmoke is our Braincrusher. Trolling with such consistency and hilarity is not an easy skill!
