Na na naa naaa.. na na na naa..

It's a shame how much Turner/TBS/TNT has eroded in 30 years. From the Squier, Buddy Baker days to Bestwick, BP, and Wally. The last 7 years or so have been pathetic as an obvious lack of interest deteriorated the production. As Nascar fans we appreciate the time and effort from TNT, but that said, kindly exit stage right.

I will miss their excellent Countdown to Green segments. Hopefully Kyle and Wally end up on NBC. (It's probably already announced somewhere but I don't feel like looking it up)

I actually don't have a problem with TNT's commentators. It's the multitude of commercials and shoddy production quality that I won't miss.
The only one I dont like is Adam Alexander.. I have no issues with Kyle or Wally... but really I prefer Darrell Larry and Mike

.. and the sound guy lol

Watch.. After the race they will do a big old sign-off, "thank you for being a part of the TNT family thank you for being a part of the TNT family thank you for being a part of the TNT family for all these years all these years"

...Don't forget that while we may be leaving, KFC's 5$ buck lunch will be here to stay!

hope they throw a commercial break in and a stick n ball ad or three to show how much they really cared for motorsports

I don't like Adam Alexander, I have always have liked Wally, only problem with Kyle is he can get annoying, besides that i like him

I for one am glad to see TNT go. I hope none of the commentators go anywhere else.

Wally calls the Verizon IndyCar Series races on NBCSN with Leigh Diffey and Townsend Bell and Kyle Petty is and will remain an analyst on NASCAR America on NBCSN.

I honestly don't know what TNT was even like this year. Either I missed the races, or was busy enough and listening to MRN to notice.

We need fresh talent in the booth. These guy's goofy clichés were old 10 years ago.
I'm sick of hearing KP every race saying, "The King did this..." or "The King did that..."
It would be similar to someone commentating baseball saying, "Babe Ruth this..." or "Babe Ruth that..."

This is why I'm excited about NBC. FOX and ESPN consists of drivers from the Dale Earnhardt era and reporters from the Dale Earnhardt era who all still want the sport to revolve around Dale Earnhardt. I'm so glad NBC's got some younger people in the booth now.

I really don't care who they put in the booth, well, that said I will have to say I really do not like Darrel Waltrip, other than that, as long as they show races on TV somewhere and my DVR keep working, life is good.

Careful what you wish for, an idiot is an idiot, doesn't matter the age. Hopefully not for NBC. I thought Jackie Stewart would make a great announcer, if I heard "motor car" one more time:mad: or Bobby Unser constantly over wanking about "little Al", Lately it is bubbleheaded bleach blonde types reading a teleprompter in the pits, really bad because some of them can't even read besides knowing absolutely nothing about racing.

Jeff Burton's been solid on NASCAR America.

I watch FOX Sports 1 because I have no use for ESPN and their need to constantly bad mouth NASCAR and trash my favorite sports teams but that network has entirely too many blondes on "The 1".

*cough*Kelly Stavast

Doesnt matter who they put in the booth, yall will still complain about the plethora of commercials on NBC.

She is purdy. Not denying that.. But she doesn't seem to know jack about being a pit reporter. Pretty bad victory lane interviews too.. IMO.
I don't think she's bad at her job. She does pretty well on NASCAR America. There's certainly far worse out there:

Someone mentioned it earlier, their pre-race isn't even that terrible. Compared to the other networks, I usually watch most of it. I always liked Wally, and KP isn't too bad. They could have done better than Alexander, though. The commercials were annoying. I hope NBC is better next year. I have my doubts.

ever notice there is always that one announcer? That is the one that isn't there for you or me, but for another type of fan. a pretty face that doesn't know spit, Alexander, Waltrip's, Larry Mac, on and on.

Even during their last race, still had the annoying audio repeat glitch around 20 laps in. Pathetic.

Trying to secure the TNT Camry test car as we speak......:D
