NASCAR America on NBCSN

Not an opinion. Grubb said it. When you think of it, all radio transmission is intermittent. They don't talk the whole time. Probably should park them for that.

Just because someone says something doesn't make it true. He was justifying a dangerous situation. I stand by my comment. If a disaster had happened no one could have justified anything. In my opinion they were lucky.

If someone had been injured or heaven forbid deceased because of his lack of a spotter which is a distinct possibility, the excrement would be firmly planted in the windmill and many heads would roll and the media fallout would understandably be unmerciful. Several people took a helluva chance so he could run second.

I do a little bit of everything. So far, this year, I've been to Greenville-Pickens and Dillon for RACE22.com's Live PASS South coverage.
Then some where over the last few years we have probably been at the same tracks at the same time. I've shot both of those tracks. PASS and K&N. I shoot mostly Fl, Ga, Al, NC, SC & Tn.... at times into Va. Dirt and Asphalt.

Probably. Last year, I was at Kingsport and Lonesome Pine mostly, when I was shooting. I'm usually behind the keys on our coverage though. I also announce the races at Franklin County Speedway.

NBCSN just showed the replay of the light incident - something FOX couldn't do during their four hour race broadcast.

What happen the NASCAR America on Friday 4/11/14? I finally get a day off, and it's not on?

And f1 and soccer and other stuff. The plan is to use your local nbc, nbcsn, cnbc,USA to deal with conflicts.

A note for next week. Racehub moves to 5pm est as it's new airtime and nascar America is preempted all week for bicycle event. Beginning may 19th the 2 shows will air against each other from 5-5:30. My guess is nbc will try to find a timeslot for NA pretty soon but we'll see

I'd much rather watch NASCAR America. Race Hub is awful. NASCAR America has more variety - not just NASCAR but Indy, F1 and other stuff as well. Race Hub is just a nightly pre-race show, FOX Sports 1 style.

I dont want "NASCAR America" to be other stuff all the time, and if so, then they need to change the name and remove "NASCAR", and be like "RPM Tonight" was , just my opinion . I ma growing tired of RH, its almost turning into as much as a joke as FS1/2 is , and I fast forward through most of the show anyways. As much as I depise ESPN, "NASCAR Now" is still tolerable to watch.

It should be noted that the reason why RH is being moved to 5pEST is because FS1 S canned "Crowd Goes Wild", as pretty much no one was watching, and RH has been the highest rated watch program on FS/1 since the switch

The problem for racehub is the same as it's been for years. Nascar isn't a daily sport. There isn't news busting out day after day that requires a daily talk show about it. So you end up with fluff pieces to fill time. The best move fox made was to cut it to 30min when fs1 launched. Then needy whiney fans pestered them about it being an hour and it went right back to mostly fluff.

Nascar America is alright. It's more straight to the point due to the 30min runtime. But fans need to calm the $&@/ down about preemptions of either show

When nbcsn debuted NA fans ran all over the web about how more nbc cares about nascar fans than fox does etc. Now the wrath of the web is hitting nbcsn! NA has been preempted or it's airtime moved several times and for completes weeks as well for soccer gms and cycling events. The exact same thing fox was doing

That is a good point, I actually enjoyed RH when it was cut down to 30 minutes, its was straight to the point and the fluff filler crap was gone for the most part, I would be happy if it went back to 30 minutes

from jayski.....

Nate Ryan and Dustin Long join NBCSN's NASCAR AMERICA lineup: NBC Sports announced Tuesday the addition of veteran journalists Nate Ryan and Dustin Long to its coverage team, dovetailing with the media group's expanded presence as a returning NASCAR broadcast partner in 2015. Ryan, who has been a regular contributor to NBC Sports Network's "NASCAR America" program since the start of the 2014 season, will leave his spot as USA Today's primary motorsports writer for a multi-faceted role with NBC. According to a release provided by the media company, Ryan will serve as an on-air reporter during broadcasts, but will also contribute to the organization's online publishing arm as a writer. Long, who most recently served as a writer and editor with Motor Racing Network (MRN) Radio's website, will transition to the same role with NBC Sports, also working alongside Ryan to produce video content. Before his stint with MRN, Long was the lead NASCAR writer for the Landmark newspaper group. In a related move, USA Today Sports announced that Brant James -- most recently a correspondent for ESPN -- would fill the vacancy created by Ryan's departure on the newspaper's motorsports staff.
