Repave at COTA
Points leader. Doesn't need wins. Junior carved out a nice career with the "people's champ" stuff. Chase Nation gettin' twitchy. I like it. MY boys are fine. No worries. When all of your teammates have punched their tickets already, the whole "people's champ" stuff only gets you so far and it's a road course. Nice bait though. How's YOUR boys doing?
Ooooooooooooooooooooo...
a HECK of a lot better than the HMS graphics design team is coming up with! *Looking at you, whoever designs the 9 schemes*
The majority of the HMS schemes over the last several years are from the same design team, and I don't know who they are, but they are terrible. But luckily they don't design the Hooters schemes, which are typically the best looking. Go figure
24 looks like a test car@2 Sweet , I see your point. That #24 is boring, the worst possible adjective one can use for a paint scheme.
Yeah some cars turn out looking better than others, but the main objective is to make the sponsors brand stand out. Some sponsors logo/brands just work better than others. I learned that a long time ago. Some horse owners colors looked ridiculous on jockeys. Same in racing.I'm much more about performance than looks and HMS is dominating so far so I wouldn't care if they wrapped or painted them all in tiger stripes. My main concern is which HMS team is going to win this weekend. I'm leaning towards the 9 or the 48 if they can stay out of trouble.
I have always been more concerned about what the wrap or paint job on the hauler looked like because you might have that look for a couple of years before changing it and no one wants to pull an ugly trailer around for a couple of years. I was very lucky because the teams I was with always had some of the best looking haulers on the tour. But I definitely was always a little concerned before the start of a new season if we changed sponsors until I saw a drawing of the new wrap. I have to say that my all time favorite and the one that got the most attention is the one in my avatar that I pulled for the last 2 years before I retired. Everyone loved that one.Yeah some cars turn out looking better than others, but the main objective is to make the sponsors brand stand out. Some sponsors logo/brands just work better than others. The sponsors must like the way the cars look, or they wouldn't sign off on it.

We head down to COTA Thursday morning...glad to see it looks like Mother Nature is going to provide much better weather since last year it was miserable!
Good lord. What were the regulations on windshield wipers?
Soon Jack might have to jack the car.RFK bench might be getting low

There used to be a Hauler Rodeo, with one event scheduled at each of four stops on the tour. They should have like a pre-show where those trucks race each other for a few laps. It would solve the hauler driver thing.
